Summer Travel
My favorite time of the year is here . . . SUMMER BREAK . . . which means we will be out exploring new places and maybe some old favorites too. It has been a sad few months so nothing like getting out of the house and finding happiness on the road!
Follow us as we travel this summer at our travel blog, On The Go! I have some fun trips planned and still trying to fill some open spaces too! I am SO excited about two places that I can not wait. One will go with the family and one will be my first solo trip! I am a bit nervous and sad but know that it will be rewarding too . . . maybe it will bring me some inner peace too. I am often asked how I can be away from home for so long? The answer is easy . . . I find happiness away from home . . . away from the day to day routine . . . from being the person that must do everything around the house inside and outside. . . . being the bad guy that must enforce the rules . . .exploring new places . . . experiencing things that I often see in books . . . meeting people and chatting from time to time even though I am an introvert. Being home alone with Colin as a solo parent is very lonely and sad at times so if I remove myself from home then all that disappears even if it is just for a short period of time. So here's to a summer of fun and finding smiles on the road!
