Hello Luggage!!

We took the wagon on our walk to pick up the kids at school the other day. The plan was to have the kids put their backpacks in it and take turns pulling them home! Well, Jilli would have none of that! She insisted on pulling the wagon both ways! She pulled both of the heavy backpacks the whole way home!!! She's super woman in training!

Chris watched Jillian and her best buddy, Lucy while I went Visiting Teaching the other day! He took them to the park, pushed them on the swings and rode them around in the bike trailer!! It was little girl Heaven! I love having Chris home!!!

It's been a little while since I wrote! My sister, Emily, called tonight and she hadn't heard any of our recent news! I forgot that I hadn't posted about it! Last Sunday, we were called into the stake offices and Chris was called to be the 2nd counselor in the Bishopric! It was a bit of a shock to us because we won't be in this ward too much longer! I guess they will use him while they can! Chris and I were asked to bear our testimonies in Sacrament meeting just after his calling. That was a big surprise for me!! I'm not too good at speaking on demand... but who is?? Our life has changed a little. Chris gets a few more phone calls and has a lot more meetings. The kids are a little upset about sharing their Dad with the ward, but I know we'll be blessed for all the efforts he puts forth to help the ward run smoothly!
We have been really enjoying having Chris home! He started back at work last week and that was a little rough for Jilli who keeps thinking he'll leave her again! We're looking forward to June and some real time off! We'll probably head to Georgia to find us a place to live! We'll be heading there in the end of July. Lots of changes coming our way!! Exciting and terrifying all at once!
Well, that is the latest in our goings on! I hope to be able to post some pictures tomorrow! Check back!!

Jeremiah was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Friday night! He was so excited! He looked so clean and fresh in his bright white jumper. He went in the warm water and his dad performed his baptism. It was a very emotional moment! Having Chris home at last and having him baptize Jeremiah a week later... was so awesome! We took these great pictures and I think you can see from the grins that it was a great occasion! Jeremiah will always remember having to sit in the men's bathroom for an extra 40 minutes or so while I ran home to get their dry Sunday clothes!!! (We had tried to be so organized... but, of course, forgot the most important items!!!) Because of this delay, we had to postpone the confirmation until Sunday. Chris confirmed him today in Sacrament meeting. He gave him a beautiful blessing and it was so special! We're so proud of him for making the decision to be baptized! He bore a wonderful testimony in Sacrament meeting today. It was simple and sweet, just as it should be! We love our Jeremiah!

We took all three kids in today for their dental cleanings. It was Jillian's first time getting her teeth looked at! She did so good! She got a little worried when the Dentist put the flouride paste on her little teeth... but she did great! No cavities all around! That is just what we love to hear!

Here we are waiting for our Daddie to come in at Green Ramp.... trying to stay busy!!

We got to Green Ramp at about 6:40pm on Saturday night. The plane was supposed to come in at 7pm. It didn't come until 8:05!! Then we had to wait for about 45 minutes for them to come off the plane and form up so they could march in together. They sang the Airborne song, the Army song and we had to hear from a couple people... but then they released them and we moved to a bench so we could look for him over the huge throng of people! Chris came in with 170 or so men and it was a madhouse! Jessica spotted him first and that first look.... wow. Nothing like it! Seeing him again, well and whole! It was amazing! Our friend Tom took the family shot and I think you can see the joy in all our faces... He's HOME!!!
