it's late at nite right now. thoughts attacking me and activate my RAS without me controlling. nah...it's not tat bad! but yea...when i'm alone. i tend to think a lot.
anyway, ppl come and go from ur life..sometimes they might have left u for certain reason but their footprint will always stay wif u. no matter how far u guys r apart from each other, deep in ur heart, u know tat u still care for the ppl who used to be around u but haf to be seperated for certain reason. n this is just temporary n u believe..some day, some time u'll meet all the ppl again.
on the other hand, u strongly believe that someone has hurt u badly, n u get disappointed for wad someone has done to u. but u choose to forgive...but u r certain tat the scar will be there all the time, but u still care for the ppl. this is the onli thing that will never change :) morever, u guys are far apart from each other, wad r the negative feeling for? all of them do not matter anymore. no matter how many regrets u have before this, how much u wish to do before the seperation which left undone...they r the facts that u can never change. u telling ppl u r insignificant to certain ppl but deep in urself, u know that u r not. u try ur best to think positive, stay positve...well it helps a lil bit but it's just not enuff to bring u thro the whole journey.
sometimes u just feel like contacting someone n talk to them. u wish u could just pick up the phone n ring someone, but all in ur mind r thinkin whether u'll get hurt again, whether there will be any awkwardness, and suddenly all the negative feeling just appear. u surely know that this feeling is different when u r dealing wif other people but u just have no idea why is this happening. mebe it's bcos of the accumulation of scars after all smses remain not replied, all the hard work u put to remain in touch do not pay off, u just dunno wad to do next. to continue or to stop. it's like a choice for a life time. it'll decide whether u'll keep in touch with ppl or not. and u know...if u dun do it...no1 will! well...in everything, there must be someone who is willing n tryin to work on. but why i'm always the one? :)
i just wan to be myself. but it's just sth tat i couldnt let go....yet! when time passes, things get bz, i believe things wll be better. or...i'm still waiting for that something...something might happen to make things better :P

Orientation!
finally...it's the real introductory fortnight for all the 4th year medical students here in christchurch! so all of us get ready on monday to go to our uni n finally meet our dear batchmates. surprisingly there r quite a no of asian there wif us. there r some from m'sia, some from taiwan, korea, singapore, japan, china, hk n so on. n there's one from kch as well :) haha...so din face much of cultural shock over here.
as wad i've said before, i'm the onli 1 in gp F from imu, so for all the small group study, i'll be left alone n explore all the things all by myself. anyway, there r 14 of us in 1 gp, in my group, there's 1 MARA scorer from m;sia, 1 singaporean, 1 japanese and 1 taiwanese :) it's kind of fun tho to get to know ppl from diff countries. n wad i din know is tat i've to do my small group teaching in PMH - Princess Margaret Hospital which is far away from city centre. luckily, one of my group mate who is kind enuff to give us a ride to the hospital. so i dun haf to worry bout transportation n stuff. Thanks God :) anyway. PMH is really a nice hospital n it's mostly for rehab of old ppl. the building n environment is nice tat u would like to spend ur holiday over there!! will show u guys the photo when i have the chance to..
anyway..wad is this introductory fortnight is bout? it's actually like wad we did in sem 1 but a lil more advance. it's exposure for the students to clinical skill, which we haf learned lot back in IMU. so this's the onli part tat we kinda have more advantage! can show off our percussion skill n stuff :D so today we did CVS examination which is cardiovascular. n we learned how to take pulses n BP..hrm...sound easy for all of u huh? yea...tat's wad we did!! n tmr will be a day following a doc and next week will haf a session wif nurse like our nursing week back in sem 1
the onli thing i'm looking forward for this whole orientation is visit to Maore...which is the maori settlement to experience the life over there, learn their culture n know bout their health status n stuff. will spent 3 days over. hopefully it will be fun. will be departing on thursday! oh ya...actually we learned a maori song today...the lyrics r as such:
E hara I te mea
No naianei te aroha
No nga tupuna
Tuku iho tuku iho
Te whenua te whenua
Te oranga mo te iwi
No nga tupuna
Tuku iho tuku iho
Whakapono tumanako
Te aroha ki te iwi
No nga tupuna
Tuku iho tuku iho
**i dunno really wad does it mean exactly, but it is a beautiful song...lolz!

I'm in Christchurch!!
finally i get to online here in christchurch!! well, 1st of all...sorry for not updating my blog. have been bz for months i guess...since month before exam...preparing for visa n stuff n oso exam itself, then exam, then go back kch for packing, and last packing n meetin up wif frens before departing to NZ on 20th Jan. and now finally decided to pay NZD 5 for 1 day of internet in the hotel :) my 1st post in NZ and oso my 1st post with my new laptop :P
how's Christchurch? hrm...seriously,i still cant tell how it is actually. once we departed, we were sent to the Oak Apartment hotel here. well, there's some prob when we goin thro the custom as the visa there written we r suppose to studying in University of Otago in Dunedin, but just a minor prob. still manage to get thro after all. it was quite a sunny day when we arrived. 21 C. the temperature was nice, weather was great. oh yea..talkin bout the apartment hotel. it is really nice!!! let's see wad it got, each one of us has our own room with double bed, with personal "kitchen" attached to it with fridge, microwave, pots, plates and bowls, kettle n so on. of cos there's a nice bathroom, wardrobe with iron and ironboard, phone + broadband, and of cos haf to pay for it like wad i'm doin now. notforgetting a tv and a radio :P
after we settled down our luggage n stuff, all 3 of us went for a walk around the city. well, it's sunday!! almost all the shops are close and we just walked around wif the help of a map and at last we found a hypermarket which is called Pak'N'Save!! n we decided to cook for ourselves on the 1st day in christchurch, cooked pasta for the 1st nite, beef wif rice on 2nd nite and saussage and rice on 3rd nite. wasnt too bad :P oh ya, morning tea and lunch are all provided in uni...so yum yum!!
wad we r having for this week is orientation for imu which is suggested by imu seniors. and we had some lectures like maori health, ethics, critical appraisal, which they think we imu students r bit behind of the other students so we r now trying to fill in the gap :) but too bad tat most of us r still jet lagging! so just feel sleepy all the time or...mebe the lectures r bit dry. haha! tat's wad basically wad we goin to do for this week. Introduction week for all year 4 students will started next 2 weeks so we basically have 3 weeks of orientation! in a way it's good oso, give me more time to adapt to the environment here :P
wad else i did so far? basically most of the time in the hotel will be sleepin, and outside hotel will be walking, walking and walking. hee...we walked to the hospital oso..bout 20mins walk. wasnt too bad oso walkin in such a weather. but...the weather here is fluctuating til it goes up to 3o degree 2 days ago and 14 degree today. hrm...dunno how will it be like tmr =S
tat's basically my life here so far. hrm...haven realy got a house yet. but found 1 10 mins away from the hotel here which is 30mins walk from uni, quite a nice wooden house, with a garden! yea...will be confirmed tmr. n there's a fish n chip shop just next to it which sell a big portion of fish n chip just for NSD 2.8 hrm...non of us can finish this chips. hahaha
hrm...after all, still need some time to adapt with this new environment!
1. the kiwi slang
2. when they dont talk bout air con but heater!
3. the window = air con
4. method to reserve heat
5. drink water straight from pipe water
6. quiet street where u see no traffic jam
7. nice car drivers who u hardly see in KL
8. shops close at 5pm.....and so on
