Kolten 7th Birthday shared with Ryan's!

Kolten and Ryan share a birthday. I don't think they have missed a birthday apart since Kolten was born. It means so much to Kolten to have that special day with his uncle Ryan. The candles on the cake resemble their ages added together! You do the math!
For their birthday we went swimming and was able to sit in a hot tub. It was nice!
We went to Cabela's to see the animals. Quincie liked this cowboy hat!
This was taken the night before when my parents went out to dinner with us to celebrate their birthday since they had to leave the morning of. We went to famous Dave's! We love that place.
Kolten got jets from grandpa and grandma.
We also went to Sofia's (Lincoln's cousin) basketball game. She plays for Salt Lake CC. They played 3 games in 3 days and we didn't miss one of them! She is so much fun to watch!

Days after Christmas

This is what I got for Christmas from my parents. We LOVE it!!! Vitamix! We make german pancakes at least once a week in it and Lincoln makes shakes that make him gag! haha. It does make some pretty good smoothies though!
We went to this train place that had some pretty cool little model trains that went around this huge room. There was different villages too. I took this picture for Chad. He would've loved this place!

Kolten and Hatti chilling on a boot at Cave Creek!
These little things were at the train station!!

Of course we had to take them all to see the temple lights in Mesa.
We sat out on the patio a lot! The weather was just too good!
Dad and Quincie picked lots of citrus!
The guys patiently waiting while all the gals went into these little shops.
HAHA!!
Nap time...or was it bed time?? Either way, I like it!
Back to Mesa temple!!
Ryan & Quincie playing while the rest of us eat.
Lincoln and Paul were seeing how to make a rope out of Palm leaves. He is so serious!

Christmas Eve 2011

We had many come for Christmas this year! We were so lucky! We had Lincoln's sister Karma, her hubby Paul, Lincoln's brother Ryan and his wife Karen, my parents and my little brother Jeff.
For Christmas eve dinner we went to the Cheesecake Factory!! And we sat on the patio. Amazing AZ winter weather!
Paul & Karma enjoying their dinner.
Ryan & Karen.
This was Lincoln and I's dinner. Good thing we shared! It was huge!
When we got home we home we put on a little Christmas pageant. Lincoln and Paul built this awesome manger out of the palm leaves that Lincoln cut down.
Hatti was Mary with child!!

Getting ready to start the show.
Ryan, Quincie, and Kolten were a wise man that brought the baby a gift toy dino, chocolate covered peanuts, and one other thing I can't remember!
Karen and Karma were the shepherds with a sheep!

Every Christmas eve we all get jammies!

Getting ready for our Christmas guests!!

We really needed to trim the palm trees but didn't want to pay every landscaping company that has knocked on the door since we moved in, and we don't even have a ladder. Lincoln decided the next best thing is go on the roof through the window and saw off the dead palm leafs with a dull rusty saw! It worked!
We went shopping for supplies and groceries. Hatti got buried!

Kolten's 1st Grade Christmas Concert

Kolten had his 1st Grade Christmas concert at Bellair Elementary. They did so good and they were so cute!
Since we don't have snow this is the best we could get!!
This is Kolten's 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Hoeffel. She is wonderful!!
I think this is the song that we sang all through the holiday's because we couldn't get it out of our heads. The reason I say think is because I don't want to listen to it to make sure so I don't have it in my head all day!! So good luck with that!
