me. now. :)

i think ms. nichole nordeman sums it up quite well....

Well, you could take a cup and fill it up
And just keep on filling til it all comes
spilling down the sides
That's what You do in my life

Or you could watch the sky at sunrise
And see the clouds turn shades I never
knew could make me want to cry
That's what You do in my life
Never mind moderation

You exceed my expectations

I have never loved You more
'Cause You have never loved me less
Than the day before, or the day before
I have never loved You more

Have you ever tried to count the stars way up past Mars?
It will blow your mind
Don't even try to think about infinity
But that's how You love me

Much more than I can contain
A balloon once tethered to the ground,
But could not stick around to stay
Free to fly away
Never mind moderation

You exceed my expectations

an ode to snooooo

i can hardly believe that THIS is my backyard.

i heart the oddness of february in dallas. sometimes it's 70 degrees and we get an early spring. sometimes it's cold till march. this year, a foot of snow fell in the area. my yard received about 10 inches but i'm not complaining. ;)

that day at work, there were numerous snowball fights and snowmen in the courtyard! my school closed at 3pm (my classes begin at 5:30), preventing me from taking a test and turning in homework that wasn't yet completed! ! it was so splendid! definitely a highlight of my year.

i giddily drove home that day and made the soup i've been obsessed with from panera bread (cream of chicken and wild rice, heehee ) and started up the breadmaker. and then i went into the backyard late at night. to play.

what is it about snow? white and cold and sparkily. and pretty. and sparkily. i'm all about sparkles.

the way it blankets everything and makes it ordinary things beautiful. i currently think that tree trunks with snow are the best thing since sliced bread (which, if you think about it, isn't such a big deal. snowy tree trucks are Way better than sliced bread, in my ever humble opinion).

i don't get it. i really don't. and if i lived in a typically snowy climate, i do believe that i might *gasp* hate it like alot of the snow dwelling people do.

i can't fathom hating snow. that just seems so.... cruel!!

words fail me.

Say The name of Jesus
Say the name of Jesus
Say the name so precious
No other name I know

That can calm your fears, and dry your tears and wipe away your pain
When you don't know what else to pray
When you can't find the words to say
Say the name

When you don't know what else to pray
When you can't find the words to say
When you can't make it through another day

Say the name
Just breathe His name
