Sorry for the lack of updates. Life has been too good recently that I simply have too many things to be updated. I'm experiencing some of that best things that one can ever experience in life and I am so grateful that I finally have the chance for this. On top of that, I'm glad to announce that after 2.5yrs of staying positive and having faith in the both of us, my then best buddy is back with me again! Or least I think so =X But anyway, I'm really glad that he finally decided to reply me, with totally unexpected contents. Thanks, friend! Welcome back! 'Once a friend, always a friend.' I'm keeping that promise! =)) Now that both my close friends whom I lost along the way decided to come back to me one after another, I guess I really have no other regrets in life. These 2 incidents make me believe that having faith in those whom we trust, love and care about is really very, very important. If you think they deserve a second chance or even a third chance, then don't give up on them, don't let them go, for they don't come easy. Most people are not bad by nature! =)) Lastly, spring is coming! yay!!!! 15 March 2010
Below is the long overdue photos taken during Chinese New Year this year.
I spent CNY eve in Beijing together with my housemates and neighbours. On the following day, I took a train to 秦皇岛 (Qin Huang Dao), to join my maternal side of the family for the remaining days of CNY. Photos: 前门 (Qian Men) ![]() One whole stretch of shopping district. ![]() It snowed the day before.. Making the fake roses amazingly beautiful =) ![]() Me and my fetish for lamposts again! Wahahaha. ![]() Met up with Ah Miao's colleague, Vivian, who's also an intern and comes from Hong Kong. Solo Trip to 秦皇岛 ![]() This is my first time taking the high speed train in China! Excited! ![]() I didn't know this train actually terminates at my birthplace until before boarding! Oops. ![]() The inside. Oh man, it's as good as what you get in Europe! Don't underestimate China anymore! Grandma's Place ![]() Home cooked food.. I love them! ![]() My cousins and aunts. ![]() On my return trip, I could only get a ticket of the slow train, with no seat. So basically I stood 4.5hrs back to Beijing. This was how crowded the train was. Domestic migration during CNY in China is totally crazy! Anyway, the boy with brown hair slightly to the right of this photo is quite cute! Cute is as in he looks like one of those Korean pretty boys on TV! I kept on looking at him and he looked back too! Wahahaha!! _______________________________________ I finally received your reply. It really came as a big surprise to me. This makes me believe the statment 'things will get better eventually someday' even more. Thanks! |
