Emergency Room

Well folks, it happened....Trace has gone to the ER before his second birthday. In his defense he does have to keep up with this siblings. :) So Friday afternoon Trace tipped over our rocking chair and almost cut the entire top of his finger off. It was pretty gross, pretty scary, and pretty stressful. Thankfully Nolan was here to watch the other kids so Heath and I could take him in.

He was a tough guy, and could get him calmed down fairly quickly. Of course as soon as someone in green scrubs walked into the room, he started screaming again, but we all lived through the experience. :)
He will have to wear this bandage for ten days, and then it should be all better. He doesn't really like it, but after Daddy rewrapped it he is doing MUCH better at leaving it alone.

Computer Sadness

So the other night my computer had apparently had enough. It is holding on by a thread, thankfully long enough for me to get my pictures off of it. So the following posts are pictures right off of my camera with no editing, so please forgive me. But it is better than no pictures. :) I am currently working on Heath's computer, which is sadly almost done as well. Our new computers have been ordered and hopefully will be here before this one dies completely.

Singing

Here is Kodi singing a little for us all, however the funniest part of the entire thing was sadly not captured on tape. As she was watching the video of herself she was so excited and pleased that the girl was "spinning" over, and over again. :)

Shhhhh, Baby Sleeping!

Tell fell asleep the other day like this in his carseat. I didn't know things like that were genetic. :) That is EXACTLY how Daddy lays in his hammock!

Family BBQ

So last Friday Trace had a ball. We had a family BBQ here, and he was either in the kitchen helping me prepare food or....

Crawling around the backyard attacking any and all unsuspecting plates of food, or cans of pop. He was a sticky, yucky mess, and happy as can be!

At some point or another all the boys did help in the kitchen. Here is Tell "helping" me peel the potatoes.
Not that great with a peeler, but happy to smile for me. :)

Dennis invited Mr Tyner to come with his eagle. It was neat to have the eagle in our own backyard.

And the next night Kodi reminded me that she didn't have any ice cream for dessert that night, SO here we are enjoying our ice cream cones to the fullest, Saturday night.

New Background

So on regular occasions, Heath will look at everyone's blog and feel updated. However he rarely goes to our blog. Yesterday he did go to it though and informed me that the pink and brown with ribbon background was just plain TOO GIRLY! So what do we think of this one? Still brown, which is my thing lately, but not to girly. :)
