Aunt Toni Wins!

In case you hadn't heard. Aunt Toni won the battle. Baby Leisl came to meet the world about a month ago. She is pretty much perfect!
Daisy however has not had her calf. If she wasn't showing signs of being pregnant we would all wonder if there really is a calf in there at all. Hopefully it will be soon!

Happy Easter

We had a great Easter this year! We colored eggs at home on Thursday. No, you absolutely can not have too many monster eyes on one egg, just ask Tell.
Kodi was very meticulous in decorating hers and was most distraught when Daddy decided to help her out. :) Gideon loved the hair, and Trace wanted to put feet on all of his.
Friday we headed up to Emery County. We had an overnight camp out with Aunt Danna and her family. Uncle Seth and his family came over and we got to have some time with them as well.
Sunday we were back home. We got all dolled up in our new spring clothes. (Thanks Red Grandma!) After church we scoured Blue Grandma's yard for eggs and there were plenty to be found! I do believe that three out of the four of them understand why we celebrate Easter so I am gonna count it as a good holiday!

Toothfairy, Get Ready!

Last year around Thanksgiving our favorite dentist told us that it was time to get my girly's extra teeth pulled. (Where most people have four teeth across the front she had five.) It took ages to work through the insurance paperwork. They believed that it was a cosmetic problem and said that if she had a cavity in the tooth then they could see pulling it out. The lady at the surgeon's office didn't give up and finally the insurance approved the surgery. So in we went. She sat down got all settled in and coughed. Once. The surgeon came and said that we couldn't do the anesthesia because of her cough. So we waited two weeks and went in again. This time Kodi flipped out. She was climbing me like a tree. She was screaming. I called Heath. He came and got her mostly calmed down but by then so much time had gone by that they didn't have time to complete it. So....we rescheduled. I was terrified that she wouldn't be brave again. We prepped her as best as we could. We prayed for her and for me. (I was just as scared as her but couldn't let her see.) I can proudly say that the third time was the charm. Heath and I both went. (She is more brave for her Daddy.) It took about 5 minutes, literally, to do the surgery. Long enough for me to go out and cry in the truck, call my sister, and go back in.They pulled 3 baby teeth, and one permanent tooth. She made it rich that night! Her smile is missing a little somethin' but we couldn't be more proud of our baby girl.(The photos are before and after. The after one was really soon after so she looks a little groggy still. HeHeHe she is gonna love that picture in future years.)
