"The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. No matter our talents, education, backgrounds or abilities, we each have an inherent wish to create something that did not exist before. Everyone can create. You don’t need money, position, or influence in order to create something of substance or beauty. You might say, I am not the creative type. If that is how you feel, think again. Creation is your opportunity in this life….. Start small. Creativity does not require a brush, a pen, or the keys of a piano. Don’t let the voice of critics paralyze you. You will make the World a better place. Improve, beautify, extend, smile, cultivate, develop, create."

A Weekend of Fun

Rewind to the weekend dated Saturday April 21st and Sunday April 22nd.

We had such a great weekend! We spent Saturday at the park with my family. It was my mom's first time seeing Corey since he got back. (side note, my mom is an accountant and she practically lives at work until April 15th, so we scheduled this for after she came back to reality.) We had a blast.

Cute Nora.

Crazy Nathan.

Nora and her favorite eating position.

The brother/uncle, Nathan, and Papa, the master BBQ cook.

Me and my mama.

Swinging.

Feeling nice green grass for, I think, the first time. (maybe...)

I left the cookie bag open and guess who found it. She'd never really had anything sweet before (I'm kind of a stickler on babies eating sugar) but this was so funny I took pictures before I tried taking anything away.

Key word 'TRIED'. Yeah, she got mad, so I just took most of it away.

And the after math...

We like cookies :)

Apparently a little too much. Parker tried to fit the whole thing in his mouth. He almost made it, but then couldn't really chew it or anything.

We like playing frisbee.

Then we walked over to the little river and of course had to throw some rocks. And let Nora feel the cold water.

Mom and Dad.

The water was kind of cold.

But Nathan didn't seem to care.

Then on Sunday we went to Corey's parents house. Again, so great! We ate outside then sat on blankets.

Nora got super dirty while eating so we just stripped her.

Look! Nora's little pony turned into a tree!

And then she started eating grass.

Mmmm.
