What are we doing for Spring Break?

Most people head south to the beach for Spring Break, but we're heading East!!!! Yep, we should be standing in front of a judge pleading our case for little Rebekah Grace during Spring Break, and there is no where else we'd rather be!!

Yesterday, we received word that our Russia representative, Galina, went to court on our behalf. We were assigned a judge, our documents were presented, and a "approximate" court date was assigned for March 18th!! I haven't spoken yet to CHI in St. Louis, but am hoping to hear back from Anna today to get a little more specific information about what is happening. I'm also not sure what "approximate" means, but hoping to have more definite travel dates soon. If our court date is indeed around the 18th, we'll probably be leaving in about 3 weeks!!!! I can't believe it! Such a mixture of panic, fear, joy, and excitement around our house. I'm not really sure where to start, but there is a lot to do!

To catch you up on what else has been going on, we've been finishing paperwork! We finally got all of our paperwork done two weeks ago and then got our FBI report in last week, so everything has now been sent to Russia for our court hearing. After it was all sent, Galina could finally go to court to present our case. We were told last week that she might go in a week, but I really wasn't sure if that would happen. You remember how things in Russia go, right? But, it looks like things happened this time the way they should. Yea!

We have also enjoyed some showers, which have been really special and fun. My work had a shower for me, then we had a large shower and a small couple's shower. Next week, Zac's work is having a shower, too! We have been so blessed with many wonderful things for Rebekah! It is amazing and truly humbling.

I have also been working on Rebekah's room. We finally got our furniture and Zac put it together a few weeks ago. I think it is coming together great and looks really cute. Here are a few pictures:

I will update again when we know more, but just wanted to pass along the good news. Please keep us in your prayers as we prepare to return to Russia!
