Week Two

I'm really enjoying capturing moments from our days digitally.  Ever since Rebekah came home I have been so amazed at how quickly children grow and change.  It is painful how fast it takes place!  I want to be able to remember these days because they are gone in an instant.  I am also enjoying playing around with the camera, too.  Here are a few pictures from this week:

Supper

This is a "wife/mommy" post, which I haven't done before on the blog.  I hope to write more posts like this in the future when I find helpful things for us busy ladies.  I recently read on a blog about an e-book called "Qu1ck and Easy D1nners" was posted.  I went to the link and read through all the recipes.  I have now tried three and they have all been very good and fairly quick (Chicken Enchiladas, Chicken Pot Pie, Taco Pasta).  Here is the link.  I am always struggling to come up with new recipes and plan a weekly menu, so hopefully this will help you in your meal planning, too!  Happy Cooking!

Our week in Photos

Happy New Year!  There is so much to catch up on, but it may never happen.  I'm just going to move ahead and if there is time to back-track, I'll work on it!

I love the idea of the "365 photography project".  If you haven't heard about this, the goal is to take one photo a day for 365 days and then at the end make a photo book of your year in pictures.  I am not going to place that much pressure on myself, but I am going to try and be more intentional of snapping as many shots as possible from each week.  Here is our week so far:

Monday (1.3.11)
We (mostly I) made a "train tower".  After this our day went downhill, so I'm glad to have a happy picture!

Wednesday (1.5.11)
We went to H0bby L0bby to see if there was anything left from their 80% off Christmas sale.  We got a few more ornaments for Rebekah's pink tree.  She is showing off her purple snowflake while "helping" me with dinner.

Thursday (1.6.11)
Playing outside with the fly swatter pushing her Dieg0 bus.

We got a package from Kay-Kay and Papa Mike that included a candy cane (R's favorite!)
