slacking @ work once again. =X [ i finished all my work alr hor, & the staff are all at meeting.]

work's still fine i guess. manager *denis is the 1 whom i always talk cock wif during lunch hours. there's always *jasmine to accompany me (but she's a part-timer so she won't be here on saturdays)

i think i bette jot down what i've done for this 2 weeks, to aid me in writing the stp report.

1.) completed most of the work for *sentosa golfview bungalow parcel 18-13.

-measured floor,wall,ceiling, bathroom finishes [hell lot of work wif super alot of deductions. & must be SUPER accurate. (i made quite a few mistakes.)]

-put all the info in a FWC file. it's file wif all the relevant excel formulas so you can just input & it'll do all the squarings for you. but it's very tedious becos you have to type in ALL the specs.

-after FWC, i have to fill up the BQ. same process but diff file format.

2.) Yishun Neighbourhood 4 project

-measure floor, wall, ceiling, stairs for pump room, utilities centre, cable chambers & kv/lv electrical sub-stations. [i hate measuring for walls seriously. SO TEDIOUS & so hard to visualise wif all the stp drawings.]

-did up the BQ for the parts i've done.

yep. & here i am wif my work done, so i could slack becos i have nth else to do. lol~ had been facebook-ing, checking emails & radio-ing. *yes933 & *perfect10 are my best companies. =))

i've also taken some photos in office. will post them up BUTTT can't do it @ work la. haha! there's no1 in the room now so i can blog. normally i'll just facebook, check emails & read up some news or blogs. =pPppp

tonight will be having *bbq! *yay!! =)) & a mini gathering session. i think every1 will just complain abt their interns lah. haha! =S

*sigh* & i still haven gotten my bday entry up. =X yes yes my bad. but *marcius will be passing me the photos! today! hope he had taken the prettier sides of me. HAHAHA! =S

just sth random. my blog's 4 YEARS OLD alr!!! lol~ & becos i always have long long posts, my blog entries don't even hit 550!!! lol~

it's amazing how work can crash you, yet at other times, give you so much personal satisfaction.

1.5 weeks of intern.. i used to have the love/less hate mentality, but now is like/dread.

there are 2 other interns & 2 part-timers working tgt with me. it's a small qs firm, the pple are still quite pleasant. at least they tried to make us feel at ease. i was 1st placed to seat at an extreme faraway corner. i loved it, becos no1 can see what i'm doing. (so i can be lazy)

by the 2nd day, i was shifted to seat wif my *mentor. (i think i've blogged abt this but yeah) it was still alright. i tried to be a good intern, reaching ever early (becos there's no way to be LATE since i'm a pampered little girl wif parents bringing me to work) & leaving later then the rest. it wasn't intention, just happened to be.

but yest i was so ready to go. (i was the last to leave alr) yes i couldn't tele my calculations (which i'm supposed to) but no1 said i could leave b4 i managed to finish work that i just learnt how to do. it's not that easy becos every single thing i HAVE to figure out myself. explanations by my *mentor (her name is *madel btw)... i don't know why. it's like i'm (sort of) always on the wrong track, giving her the wrong things or measuring stuff wrongly. [eg: supposed to measure in length i gave the whole area, supposed to seperate the nos but i combined etc]

so it's like super repetitive work. not like i wanna complain. but i stayed back 1 more hr yest (yes no OT) for apparently NO reason becos i could have just finished my work TODAY. i was so slack. or at least, i let loose of myself. why behave so vigilantly?

[blogging was disrupted as dar* called. was continued the next morning. having a super different blogging mood haha~]

sooooooooooo... i decided to be slack. since there's a (perm) staff sitting near me talking to her friend on the phone for almost an hr! omg! buttt.. i'm still only an intern. so i can't compare myself wif her. but oh wells, i've decided to take my work less seriously. haha! =S

TGIF. but i need to work on saturdays too! so what's the point! =((

lalala. i duno wat to blog anyways. in office now waiting for some work to do. the bungalow project's finished alr~ yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

anyways, just to update friends who are suffering together wif me.. (=pPp) i'm posted to *dk source, some home-based QS firm which later moved to its present office. i have been doing MEASUREMENT for 3 CONSECUTIVE days (i think i'll still be doing that for the coming 2 mths), but they promised some site visits for me to write in my report. my butt was GLUED to the chair wif lunch breaks less than half an hour. working hours are 9 to 6 & DAMMIT i need to work half day on saturdays!!! i still duno how much is my allowance, rangin from $350-800 (info from the 2 other interns there)

i could online & surf whatever websites BUT i was shifted to sit NEXT to my mentor so it's equalvent to none. (having the tempations is MUCH worse than having no access at all) it's really stressful & i feel myself not up to expectations at all. (for they assume that i have MORE backgrd than none building students. wth right.)

but maybe i shouldn't be complaining. my parents have been sending me to work, having nice breakfast every morning. &&&& i get to try out being a *QS. perhaps = to my route of being a successful & RICH WOMAN. HAHAHA! =S

the whole company is flooded wif A1 & A3 sized papers. madness!

i'm currently MEASURING for *sentosa cove GODLFVIEW bungalows. for rich pple 1... but who will actually want to stay in sentosa?! hmmm...

anyways enough of WORK.

my 21st ever grand party turned out well, i hoped. glad that MOST pple liked the medal (my gift/prize for the party, cost quite a BOMB kays!!! MY OWN MONEY!)

shall be posting photos soon~ (too busy LAH, besides, i'll take AGES for *marcius to send me the photos)

but i'm pretty upset as i was SO BUSY & TIRED that night that i couldn't catch up wif all my friends. *RAR* & the SGD$400 BIRTHDAY CAKE was such a DISAPPOINTMENT!!! waste money!!! zzz!!!
