Keeping Up With The Turner's

Zoe Kae is now 10 months old plus 1 week! She has 1 tooth that came out and she now weighs 21 lbs according to my scale. It was kind of rough last month while she was teething and going through an ear infection in both ears but not as bad as it could have been. Zoe was fussy during the day but she always managed to sleep well at night so I was lucky. She's eating more and more table food and she LOVES it. The girl LOVES to eat!!! She would rather feed herself than be fed so finger foods are great. Some of her favorites are still watermelon, cheese, cheerios. I think she could live on those 3 foods. She had spinach for the first time yesterday and seemed to really like it. She's crawling now and cruising. Sometimes she thinks she can walk on her own and lets go and takes off only to fall and bump her head. She already has a bruise on her head and I'm sure there will be many more to come. We've been working on holding the sippy cup and she's been holding it today and drinking from it. My baby is growing up! Calvin is studying hard for his oral board exam in anesthesiology. It is about a month away so he is stressed. We will all be happy when his exam is over. I turned 32 this month. I guess that means I am old. I remember thinking that people in their thirties were really old but now that I'm 32 I don't think it is old at all! Now I think that old is when you are in your 80's! I've got a long way to go before I'm old!!

It took a while to get Hans to sit still with a rope on his nose. He loves to play tug of war with his rope so sitting still like this was a challenge. I think Hans will do almost anything for a treat.

Can you see Zoe Kae's teeth? She has a bunch of teeth that look like they are going to cut through soon. She has 1 that came out and it is crooked. Let's hope that when the others come out it will all push them into alignment! She's 9 months and 3 weeks in this picture. How sweet! She likes to lean in and put her head next to my face. That's how she gives hugs! She loves to give hugs and kisses. She'll come at you with her mouth open and plant a really wet one on your mouth. Hugs and kisses come only when she is in a good mood. Such a happy baby.
