Howell Haven

So, so sorry for the HUGE delay in the update of the blog. It's been a really busy year and well, the blog was the last thing on my mind : ). Things have sort of slowed down so here's the year in a nutshell....

My surprise birthday present!!! I'm so excited. I had to leave my other piano in Ohio when we moved. It's in good hands(I gave it to my sister-in-law, Andrea) but it's nice to have a piano in my house again : )

Went to the Wyoming Territorial Prison and did a pumpkin walk and a  straw maze and painted pumpkins.  All kinds of fun fall stuff.

Here in Laramie, they have what's called a "Downtown Kick-Off." All the businesses downtown have booths and advertise for business. This is Gar's booth. It's all happening, here real soon he will have a brand new clinic and patients!! I'm very proud of him and all of his hard work.

Oh yeah, and this is happening too. Don't know how I feel about it yet, but bring it on right?

Well, I guess I'll start where I left off....Mason's 3rd birthday was in May. Spider-Man themed obviously.

Garrett graduated from the Optometry program at The Ohio State University in June.

We bought a 1986 Knickles bread truck to haul all of our stuff in. Yep, this bad boy fit all of our stuff and made it across the country : )

Claira's 2nd birthday was in July. We spent the summer living with grandma Howell waiting for Garrett's paperwork to finalize, and had a family reunion and  took a few short vacations.

Finally, August 1st we moved into our new place in Laramie, WY. Garrett is licensed in Colorado and Wyoming, currently seeing patients in both states. His clinic here in Laramie, should be functional in October(the building is under construction). In a nutshell, that has been our life....we had a few other things happen like Taylor can now rider her bike with no training wheels(which she loves), she has also lost about 5 more teeth and is starting 1st grade Sept. 4th, Mason has picked up on the awesome-ness of Tranformers, Claira is still a pistol, just a very verbal one, we sold the bread truck and got Garrett another Buick since we had to leave his baby in Ohio, and we have spent a lot of time with family and we're loving it!!
