These 2 pictures are my new favorites of Lincoln.Shawn has been out of town on business trips this month and Lincoln has really enjoyed going to the airport to pick him up. In fact he packed his "back back" every day and would tell me how he needed to go to the airport and that he was going on a blue airplane to Washington because he had work to do. I have really enjoyed watching him pack and listening to his plans for taking the blue airplane.
Friday night when we went to pick up Shawn, Lincoln kept telling me "Thank you for taking me to the airport, I have to go to work". Well when we got to the airport there was a line of people standing there and Lincoln told me that he needed to get out. I told him to wait until we got around to the north side because that is where Daddy was. When we pulled around he thanked me again and told me he could go in the "that" door. We pulled over and parked to get Shawn and Lincoln HONESTLY thought he was getting out to go inside, when we pulled away from the curb, he got very upset and was crying telling us about how he needed to go on the blue airplane and had to go to work. I felt bad that he was so upset about it, but it was so cute.
