New project brief had just launched yesterday and we are going to have a hell of a time the next 3 weeks, starting yesterday. 16 things to be submitted and that includes largely a well done model with real material reflected in model, draftings and 3D. The list is scary and everything is jammed packed now till submission deadline which is on 18 August. Therefore, drew and august's present will be delayed till after 18 august. I am so sorry guys.. but these 3 weeks are important. Very Important. Oh ya.. and we nid to print at least 6 A1 size panels.. amounting to a cost of 120 bucks. Someone please kill me. And that does not include the money for buying materials for my model. *stabs* *********************** I have offically been eating some weird food that my mum and dad cook. Some really werid food.. and the best part is I have no choice but to stuff it into my mouth. I just need some normal home cook food! (pray pray no more weird food please). ********************** We pretty much cam-whored in school yesterday with weilin's new SamSung camera that doubles up as a MP3 and MP4. And guess wat.. the camera has a addition function of turning us into Hulk! Cox someone the anti-shake thingy just turned our faces green.. oh wells.. Weilin is happy to have the camera, but she do not know the functions of the camera!!! OH GOSH!! Even people like me and yunrui who doesn own the camera operates the camera better that weilin. Lalala.. someone is a NOOB. weehhhhheeee... wahahaa  Yun Rui like to act like some female ghost these days.. ever since we did that Spritual Space Project. haha.. she love to be spiritial  Ok.. i frankly dunno what is xinjie trying to do.  Yun Rui is taking picture of me! So i took a pic of her back! lalala  Me, Weilin.. she seldom smile till so cheerful wor.. haha  Hiding half of the face.... IDK! So addicted to watching Nip Tuck these few days since submission is over. Its actually a nice show, but sometimes its just sending out wrong information. Oh wells.. who cares? Its a ENGLISH show, therefore, showing lesbian scenes, sex scenes, threesomes is probably just so common. What can I say.. America has a open society. One thing i find it quite disturbing is that there is this part, a woman is so desprate to get a plastic surgery done, she offer her 17 year old daughter and her for a threesome with the surgeon. What kinda mom is that!! Luckily, the surgeon decline it. Nip Tuck is definately a show that i would watch before meals or after i have digested. Haha.. its just too gross to watch with food in your mouth. The scenes whereby they cut open the flesh and cutting things out from the human body, the waste material of liposuction flying everywhere is just too gross. *send chills down my spine* ************************* Hum.. with Andrew bdae, Augst bdae, Louis bdae, Weilin's bdae round the corner.. Jolene is feeling so broke. Her miserable tuition fee of 170 bucks is not enuff to substain birthdays that crashes all together. What more, she gotta pay her handphone bills and buy stuff. One word.. MISERABLE. I need $$$$$. And Jolene nid a bag. Her current bag has its zip spoilt and too many holes to contain things well. Since u were his intern Jol: so i shall tell Max Chen "my friend ask me to tell u that she say since i was ur intern, sld i can help u out by doing freelance" . . . . . . ( after some time later) Rui: repeat this to Max Chen.. "look at my nick. After blog hopping around reading the same few blogs that I usually go to, I finally decide to blog. Submission deadline was today, 8am. Vola! First time in the history after studying in SP for almost 3 years, I reached school by 7.30am. As usual the morning train was packed like sardines and I was so worried that my models would be squashed. * I think I would probably scream the hell out of that whoever who squashed my model * Submission is in a haste and huge models, tables and chairs were everywhere. Being in this "high burn-out rate course" for so long, getting not enuff sleep and rushing every deadline seems so normal. Therefore, if we were late for submission ( meaning your things would not get graded ) is such a waste. All your efforts and days of not sleeping have gone to waste! Yet there were a few of us that were late, and Ms Ho was one of them. The fact that she was late for the previous submission was ald pretty jia liat, and this time round, she too was late for the submission. Goodness, its important that she kill in the final crit sesson and FYP. Of course she was very very very emo and cried.. I mean, who wont? Haiz.. what can I say.. just be punctual for all submissions. Yesterday was 1 hell of the night I went through. I was rushing for my models to be done, perspectives to be drawn and journal to be done. I sorta "complete"my model in 6 hours (which was ald very very fast, cox normally model takes me DAYS to complete it ). All in all, I had a complete submission, and so now waiting for my crit day. Anyways.. after submission eariler this morning, half of us were knocked out. We need a tour around lalaland.. ( take my hats off to ms ho and yunrui.. they still go Orchard to shop despite feeling light-headed ) Labels: Life'08

Offically, i am beginning to enjoy the tuition lesson with my student. The 2 hours of teaching him science just zoomed pass without me noticing it, often leaving me not enough time to complete the things that I have planned for him. Yesterday was his fourth lesson with me, and I was pretty nervous about it as I kept worrying that the mom might not want me to continue teaching her son anymore cox she find that I am not doing a fantastic job etc. So might as well change a new tutor. Well.. having said that, it was all just part of my thinking, and of course the mom did not fire me. That little guy is getting so so talkative.. within that 2 hours, he can talk with me non-stop. haha.. and he is getting lamer and lamer. Last week, he was telling me that he compete with his friends to eat watermelon skin. YES.. u see it right! WATERMELON SKIN. Crazy stuff!! And this week, he was asking me what makes a leaf green. I replied.. how can u don't know that! u are suppose to know that. He says "chlorophyll". I replied.. "yes.. chlorophyll is a green pigment in the leaf that..." My dear student replies.. "WHY IS IT CALL PIGMENT? AND NOT CATMENT? IS IT BECAUSE IT IS FOUND IN THE PIG? THAT'S WHY IT IS CALLED PIGMENT?" wow.. for that instant.. I finally realise how lame my dear student can be. And he kips talking and talking.. he even told me his classmate vomited in class cox they find science sick. so watever.. Here are the things he did in lesson yesterday. 1. He told me a story about this girl wanting to reduce her cup size. And so he used the scientific calculator to type in some numbers and turned over the calculator to show me "Boobless". 2. He used the calculator to type "BOOBS EXPLOSIVE". so watever. 3. Tell me 2 lame joke with I find it not laughable. 4. Took 45 minutes to complete 10 questions!!! 5. He told me he dun wanna be a nerd like RI de ppl. and so the list goes on. Humm.. yes he can chat with me.. but he also nids to get his work done! Yes yes.. this is a week later post. These few weeks had been too damn bz to do any blogging. Things have more or less settles down and time to concentrate more on my dear project. Wat can I say.. i am pretty ON into this current project as its about RETAIL!!! and the best part is.. we can choose any shops we want! As long as the shop lies on the sectional line that we have to cut through. Yesssss.. and i am doing on PUB!! So interesting rite! Cant wait to get my hands on the designing part. But first.. we have to do research and more research. Yup.. Last Sat I went to watch the preview for NDP'08 with Louis. Thanks to Zac that we had the tickets and thanks to Louis for asking me along. It has been really quite a while since I actually go to the stadium ( which was at Padang back then ) to watch the parade. Its still the same routine every year starting with the Marine Wave ( or back then it was called the Kallang Wave ) , some S'pore cheers , some jazz/opera singing and dancing , the chopper with the big spore flag , the parachuters and the Black Hawk ( u know the fighter plane that always zoom past the sky making this tremendous thunder like sound? Yup.. thats it! ), the uniform groups with SAF squad standing for long long time, the firing of 21 shots etc etc.. and last but not least.. FIREWORKS. Although i seriously think that the fireworks sucks.. but I still manage to enjoy it. wahaha.. For the past few years, the part where the SAF and unifrom group standing down there, doing nothing really bore me out. However, this year, with the explanation (from louis ) of every move and every command that the commander made, I actually find it quite interesting. Haha.. at least i wont be listening to them screaming gawd knows what command it is.  The start of the parade.. they threw these gigantic balls from the top and we are suppose to send it down to the front. The thing is that the balls are too little!!! HUMPT!!  These helicopter look alike thing looks nice when all of us open it up.  The Marina Wave.. the wave just dieded half way through.. there goes the saying 长江后浪推前浪，前浪死在沙滩上。  The Singapore Flyer  The wheel-chaired peoplr doing a classic dance for the audience. It looks pretty organize and neat. Appulase out to them!!!    The Singapore scenery with the new IR building.. heard that the cost of 1 unit in the IR building is 3 times higher than the rest of the units in the older buildings.  They sure look like ants from here.. but they are the ones that receive the most appulase and cheers.. YES! They are the parachuters!  Some of them have up to 3000 jumps.. WOW! AMAZING   A closer looks at the heroes!! SALUTE TO THEM!!  Here comes the SAF band and MP   Marching in of the uniform groups and SAF squads  Neat rite!! Be proud , Sporeans!!!  Okie... the guys in No. 1 carrying the SAF Colours Flag are the ones that have to be 180cm and above, and the flag is carried at the groin area , and the guys carrying the flag DO NOT HAVE TO SALUTE THE PRSIDENT WHEN MARCHING PASS ( in fact, we commoners have to stand up when the flags are marching pass us ) as the flags represented the whole army.  What can I say.. guys in NO.1 just looks so dashing..HANDSOME.. MAN! I will melt immediately..   When they are marching out.. a guy in NO. 1 ACTUALLY DROP HIS CAP. So this random guy from the front dashed out to help him pick up the cap and put it on for him.  Stand up! For Spore.. do the best you can!  The fighter planes zooming across the clear blue sky.
