My wife is AMAZING!
So tonight we were asked by our friends Aaron and Susan to take care of their little girl Lainey
(remember my home-girl from my last post) and so far it has been a BLAST! The reason I am mentioning this particular event is to show you guys how WONDERFUL my wife Chelsea is.

Here is the low-down..

I was the ENTERTAINMENT for tonight. There was not a time while Lainey was awake that I escaped her notice. She kept looking around to see if my funny-lookin' face was still in the area. The whole night I was just playin' with her and makin' her smile and laugh or whatnot but..
(yes, there is a 'but') that was ALL I was good for. I kid you not, after she took a bath and was ready for bed.. I was not her friend anymore! :( I guess it depends on the time of day/night it is but it reminded me of a scripture that talks about there being a 'season for everythin'. So, my season ended at around 7ish tonight and all I was good for after that was makin' her a bottle :( A+ for effort, right? lol

Now my wife on the otherhand, her season started at 7pm. She was AMAZING! Truly, it was like she had a kid already that I don't know about (I doubt it.. hmm :P jk) and she was so patient and it was like she KNEW what to do. Lainey started cryin' and I was like "umm, didn't plan on this happenin" but Chels was like "Give her to me" so I stepped down and gave her my lil home girl to soothe. That's what my wife is.. A Soother of Souls! I tell you, she does MANY things that soothe my troubled soul and I love her to death for it but to see it in action tonight with Lainey was MYSTICAL! Like it was a special ability she had or something. Aaron had told us that if Lainey should ever get restless, to rock her and sing "I am a child of God". I tried but failed as I was the ENTERTAINER and not the SOOTHER. So, as Chels was walkin' back and forth from the rooms she started singin' that song. She probably thought I couldn't hear her, but I did. She has such a beautiful voice! She doesn't think so but both Lainey and I know that her voice can make us mellow. She's my angel and I love her to bits!

Lainey is such a beautiful lil girl and she was AWESOME to us tonight! She played and laughed as if her parents never even left the house! Good to know that we can take care of her and still be able to have fun (cos we're bff pretty much lol). She's so cute with her lil face all scrunched up when she's makin' faces (usually cos my funny-lookin' mug is always pullin' faces) and like most infants NEVER wants to stay in one place. Always has her arms raised high so we can pick her up, her very own personal chaperons.

Well, that's it for tonight. Now, time to cuddle with the missus and maybe watch a movie? Hmmm.. Which one will it be? Good night peoples!

Right now Chels and I are VERY excited because we just bought our flights headed for KONA (otherwise known as BIG ISLAND) which is another Island in Hawaii. This is the FIRST time we've left Oahu to visit another one of the islands and as an added bonus.. The TEMPLE is right there!


We will be leaving in a few weeks after school is out and it will be the day after we move into TVA (Temple View Apartments) on BYUH campus! So many blessings to be grateful for it's O'SUM!


Also, today we will be babysitting my lil homegirl, Lainey. She's such a lil cutie and she is Aaron and Susan's baby. So, tonight Chels and I will be babysitting her while her parents go to the Polynesian Cultural Center to watch the night show.

The only other things I can think of telling you guys right now is...

I love my wife!

I love my life!

So Monday was our 6 month Anniversary and I gotta say, it was quite an amazing evening! Although we had work and school, we were blessed to have SOME time for each other and so I bought my Chelsea a card and as she arrived home from work I was all dressed up to spend a lovely evening with her. She is SO GORGEOUS! As we left our humble home and headed for the city, we couldn't help but stare at each other.. Actually, it's ALL we ever do! We are still SO IN LOVE it's the BEST! I took her to an incredible spot called "Tanaka of Tokyo" and it was AWESOME! We saw our food perform for us as the cook for the night showed off his crazy skills with his blades and he not only amazed us with the preparation of our food, but it was SO GOOD! We were just goin' crazy at how delicious the food was plus it was entertaining! Chelsea was very impressed and just seeing her happy made my night.. She's SO BEAUTIFUL! I'm such a lucky clown. (hehe)
