This is how my box started out a rather posh wine box

And this is how it finished

The corners look like this

And for those that are curious - this is what I've got inside

I sanded down my box - then gessoed it. I then coated it twice with black acrylic - the gold acrylic was sprayed on - and oh what a mess I made !!!!!The grunge pieces on the top had the same treatment!!! Inside the box I coated with gesso then used white acrylic - Graeme made me the little dividers. I used a piece of my own backing paper on the lid but thats covered with my masks.

A very useful place to keep lots of my Tim stuff together and nice and tidy

The wine was good too !!!! So - if you get a posh wine box for Christmas then you know exactly what to do with it

My santa made

This is one of the shrines my very own Santa made for me - can't wait to get started on it - isn't it fab !!!!It actually has a door as well but I asked him not to put that on until I've done the inside

Altered Box

I got the inspiration to alter this box from an issue of Cloth, Paper, Scissors that Zoe had kindly got for me.

I sanded the box - then 2 coats of gesso - 1 coat of gold acrylic then when that dried I put on a coat of PVA and immediately a coat of cream acrylic - as the PVA dried the acrylic all cracked showing some of the underneath layers. I finished off by adding some walnut stain with cut n dry. The inside of the lid - I stamped on to tissue and added with modpodge before adding a few embellishments. A real neat box to keep some of my ever growing ideology bits and pieces in. Now on to finishing my next one !!!

Altered frame

This started life as a pine mirror from Poundland. I sanded it - coated it with brown acrylic and let it dry overnight. I then sprayed it with glimmer mist and whilst wet sprinkled siver and gold embossing powder on and used my heat gun to set it. Love the way it has textured - my rose was done with metal and coloured with alcohol inks. I've covered the mirror to take the pics

Winter Snow

This is where I am today !!!! But I've all the heating on and am as snug as a bug in a rug

Lotstodo Challenge - Free Theme

A free theme this week on the Lotstodo Challenge - maybe 'cos I was so busy with Tims tags :):):) This challenge will run until 8th January when we'll be back with a new challenge and some candy.

For this card I stamped and heat embossed one of my Mandala stamps on to black and white card stock - I then cut them out - glitzed them up and used foam squares to mount them. I then mounted the whole piece on to a mat I'd made with my Bigshot and Nestabilities and finished off with a bit of bling

Tags 9 -12

Another fun filled day finishing my tags = I have so enjoyed each and every one of them - thanks Tim fo all the inspiration you have given to thousands again this year.

Tims tags 1-4

I have had so much fun creating these tags from the Tims Tags 2009 collection. I have had to utilise quite a bit where I didn't have the products Tim uses - quite happy with the way they've turned out though and it was great to be trying the different techniques.

Lotstodo - challenge - Snow

Sorry about the quality of the pic. The acetate created a flash however much I tried!!! This is the first card I made at a craft group meeting that I joined last week. The acetate is bowed and looks really well on top of the snow sky background, the sleigh and the moon.
