My Anniversary Surprise!

So as a I said a few posts ago, Ryan and I just celebrated our 5 year anniversary! Ryan had been trying to plan a surprise weekend away for us but things didn't work out with baby sitters. So I prepared for an anniversary at home with 4 kids! Our anniversary was on Friday, it was about the same as every other. Ryan went to work I took care of the kids. For dinner since I said I wasn't cooking on my anniversary we got Papa Murpheys and watched a movie. Ryan got me some beautiful flowers and we had an ok evening together as a family! But lets tell the truth, what kind of an anniversary is that? Hello lame! But oh well right you have to have a few lame anniversaries! Well on Saturday, I woke up to Ryan dressed for work, kissing me good bye! What it is SATURDAY!!!!! So he gave me a completely viable explanation for what happened at work and he had to go in for a little while! Great my day started out wonderful! So I went to the kitchen and started getting the kids breakfast, No sooner had I done that and my wonderful husband walks back in the house, with two baby sitters! He turned to me told me to get dressed and we were off! So we went on an adventure in Portland for the day! We had a great time . We went to the Japanese Gardens. wich were beautiful!
Me and my hunny by the waterfall!
Me being naughty and climbing the wall! Oops!
I love this man!

The cool stair case! The amount of work that went into this place every little pebble is specifiacally set!

Man I wish I always had these little signs in life, it could make things alot easierCrop circles, ok not realy!

So We had a great time at the Japanese Gardens! But let me be honest for a minute, it costs $8 to get in per person, and I expected alot more for that much money. They are gorgeous, but so small for the amount of money, in my opinion! Oh well! We also went swimming, did some shopping and ate lots of good food! We had a great time and I am so thankful for a husband who realized my need to get away for atleast the day! I love you Ryan thank you so much for all you do for me and our not so little family!

Catch Up!

Ok, so despite the few posts I have made I am majorly behind, so this is trying to catch up on everything that has been going on! Two weekends ago we were able to have Ryans sister Michelle her husband Greg and their three kids come visit us for a couple days! We had such a good time together! The kids all enjoyed climing up the hill of rocks, otherwise known as our back yard!Rachael!
Jacob!

The beautiful Katie!

The whole gang trying to make it to the top!

Michelle!
We had the local fair going on while they were here so we decided that would be a great way to entertain the kids! The kids enjoyed looking at all the animals!
Rachael and the girls by the big breeding Sow!
They had a free train ride that the kids absolutly loved! I was seriously impressed with the local fair and how much FREE stuff there was to entertain the kids! Sorry I didn't get to many pictures my batteries died! So when I get more from Michelle I will post those!
On a nice sunny day a few weeks ago I took the kids outside! They had a great time playing and then to cool off I turned on the sprinklers! Reagan as you can tell prefered staying warm and dry in the garage!

The girls loved it, but were quite confused that I said it was ok to get their clothes wet! This is Leauna playing and having fun!

Lydia was very proud of the fact that she was wetter than anyone else!

Ryland ran through once and decided he hated it, Poor kid was so mad! Mean MOM!

But I did let them enjoy a popsickle while we were out!
We recently set up our tent maze in the living room. The kids love playing with it! But the girls decided it would be much funner if they could sleep in the tents at night! This is Lydia going to bed!
This is Leauan going to bed!

They realy enjoyed doing this and slept realy good! So we kept it up for about a week!
Also a few weeks ago Ryans sister Debbie, her husband Steve and their 4 kids came to visit for a few days! The kids had a great time with their "friends" and the Banda kids were great about entertaining the kids! The is Matt and Josh playing Don't break the ice with the girls!
This is Allison taking the boys on a choo choo ride! It was so great to see them. Unfortionatly I didn't take many pictures though! Sorry!
Our summer has also been kept busy as Ryan has been playing on a city league Mens softball team! He had a great time! And we enjoyed watching him!

This is Ryan running after hitting a triple! Go hunny go!
At one of the games the boys found a mud puddle, so I decided to take their pants off before they got to filthy!
But they continued to have fun, in diapers! My silly boys I just love them!
Reagan showing off his six pack! He does that alot, he is quite proud!

We have had a fun and eventful couple of weeks, it was great seeing family and enjoying our time together!
