First Day of School 2012

Leauna and Lydia are off on their first day of first grade! They were feeling excited but a little nervous this morning. They said they felt better after family prayer!

Lydia is in Mrs. Davis first grade class!

Walking to the school!

This year we requested that the girls be in seperate classes.  We prayed and debated about weather this was the right thing to do. I think this will be good for them, but it is hard to see them going their seperate ways especially when they want to be together. They have never had to be seperated before so it pulls at my heart strings.

I was telling Leauna this weekend that I am not ready for them to go to school again because I miss them and want to spend more time with them. Her response was, "I know Mom I want to spend more time with you too,  but this is just the way it is when I am in first grade." She made me chuckle and she acted so mature!
This is Lydia in her classroom the day of the open house.
Work hard girls! We are so proud of you and all that you are becoming! We love you so much!

Here we go again.....

Tomorrow is the first day of school. My little girls are off to 1st grade, and I sit here with mixed emotions once again. I love to keep them home in my little cacoon, but I am so excited for them. I love to see them grow and mature and learn new things. I am so proud of the young ladies they are becoming. The boys will be starting preschool on Tuesday so  Ryan gave each of the 4 older kids a fathers blessing tonight. I had to hold back the tears as I watched them climb up on the chair one by one. They are growing up so fast. They are such good kids and I could not be happier to be their mom. Each and every one of them brings something special and unique to our family, that I can't imagine living with out. I don't like watching them go, but they will love it. So for now I am going to sit and enjoy watching their joy and watching them grow.

Garth and Jennie's Wedding

I was so happy to be able to go to Garth and Jennie's Wedding. They were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple and it was a beautiful day! I am so happy for you Jennie!

First Hair Cut!

I finally broke down and gave Royden a little trim. He had a few hairs on top that were quite a bit longer then the rest and he needed a little trim around the ears. He was quite the mover so it wasn't the easiest, but we got by.

Ryland dressed little brother up!

We took some cute pictures of baby boy!

Royden rolled over for the first time at 5 months old and has been rolling ever since! I don't think it will be long before he is busily into everything!

For over a year since the kids watch "TinkerBell 3" the kids have been begging to make fairy houses so they can prove to me that Fairies are real. We finally got them made! they enjoyed making the houses, but are dissapointed that no fairies have showed up yet.

Royden looked might cool when he turned 5 months old!

Swimming Lessons 2012

This year the 4 older kids were all able to do swimming lessons. They all had a great time and I think it was very beneficial for them.

Lydia

Leauna and Lydia were both in the Otter class. They did very well and are quite the little swimmers!

Leauna jumping in the deep end

Reagan started out the week holding on to the side and the teacher and only jumping in if the teacher caught him, even though he could reach. By the end of the  week he was jumping in on his own.

Ryland is a little fish! The instructor had to keep telling him to stay out of the deep end and keep his head above water! He is such a daring little boy!

Ryland and Reagan were both in the Star Fish class!
