First Week of School.

The first week of school has been a hard one for our family. After Royden was released from the hospital the kids older for kids got the stomach flu. They were so miserable on the first day of school it was sad. They wanted to go so bad and were so a sad that they missed it.

Reagan, he didn't get near as sick as the rest of them. He really felt like he should be able to go to school.

Royden
After getting over the stomach flu they also got the Hand Foot Mouth Disease that Royden had. The Dr had warned us that they would probably get it. We did everything we could to try and stop it, we washed and cloroxed everything, but to no avail it happened. They are now feeling better but are still contagious so the Dr wants them home the entire first week of school. We wanted an extra week of summer but not like this. We are hoping that we can get them all well and to school next week. It has been a hard week seeing my kids suffer. Luckily the baby has stayed healthy through it all.

Banda's Come to Visit

Aunt Debbie, Uncle Steve and there family stopped by for an morning to meet Renton and spend some time with us on their way to take Allison to BYU. We had a great morning and lunch with them and we loved seeing them.

The kids loved playing with their cousins and they all got several piggy back rides from Matt and Josh

We went out for lunch and Uncle Steve spiled the kids with money for the games lots of fun times!

Uncle Steve finally found his time with Renton also. We all had a hard time saying goodbye. We don't get to see each other nearly enough!

Thank You for stopping and seeing us we loved having you. There are no pictures of Royden as he was not feeling well at all. After we said goodbye we ended up in the Dr. office where he was admitted to the hospital. He had hand foot and mouth and was severely dehydrated. We couldn't get him to eat or drink anything. One night in the hospital and he was doing much better. We are so glad to have our happy little boy back.

Roaring Springs and School Shopping 2013

We live so far from stores that school shopping is no short trip to the store. This year since our summer was busy with having a baby we decided to make a fun weekend of it and headed to Boise.  The girls earn free tickets to roaring spring through a reading program at school. We decided this would be the perfect weekend to use them. I however didn't read the tickets very well and we found out the hard way that they are not valid on Saturdays. We had already told the kids we were going to we just had to bite the bullet and pay for everyone. (Ouch to the checkbook) But we had a great day and so much fun. I didn't take many picture at all but here are a few.

Aunt RaLauna joined us for the weekend. It was so fun to see her. And it was such a help. We knew we couldn't safely do roaring springs without her as I was busy with the baby so much. It was a great, busy, fun, productive, expensive weekend. We loved it!

August in Pictures

August was a fun busy month for us. The kids put on some dancing performances for us in the back yard.

At 2 weeks old Renton weighed 10 lbs 2 oz (50%) 23" long (95%)

Leauna's dance included a wonderful outfit she designed all by herself.

For the third week of Renton's life Aunt Stephanie and Samantha came and stayed with us. We had a great week and Aunt Stephanie was so good about making sure mommy took it easy and didn't do anything I wasn't supposed to. She was such a great help and we love spending time with her.

On his 4 week birthday Renton rolled over for the first time, and I even caught it with pictures.

He didn't like it much until he was all the way over.

Much Better!

Royden may or may not have tried to pull him across the floor right after this picture.

Renton gave his first responsive smiles in the middle of a long night! Love my one on one time with this boy!
