Leauna and Lydia's Baptism

Leauna and Lydia were baptized as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, on February 1, 2014. It was such a special day for them and for our family. A few weeks before they were baptized my friend Leah, at Leah Planiz Photography took some pictures of them in their baptism dresses. She did such a good joy. I love them and they make me realize how my girls are growing up. It was a cold day but the girls did great and Leah was super quick.

For their special day we had so much family come. It was great and it meant so much to us that so many traveled so far to be here for their special day.

Ryan did a great job and gave them a beautiful blessing when he confirmed them.

The Nielson Clan
Grandpa and Grandma Nielson, Aunt RaLauna, TyLene, and Tayson were able to come. We also got to meet Aunt RaLauna's boyfriend Leighton.

It was a great weekend with family. We loved having them. Leauna and Lydia we are so proud of you and your decision to be baptized. It is such a special step in life. We love you and couldn't be prouder of you.

Leauna and Lydia turn 8.

This year the girls birthday fell on a Monday. So we celebrated once they were done with school for the day. They wanted Spagetti for dinner, and they wanted ballet cakes.
These were my attempts at some ballet slippers on their cakes. They didn't turn out too bad, all things considered.

Their main present this year was getting their ears pierced. In addition they both made the other a necklace with their names on it. They were so surprised that the other had thought of them. And they did it all on their own. I was proud of them for wanting to give their sister something special.

They also got a new scarf, earings, a night gown and an outfit with a matching one for their dolls. They loved them. They were so excited since they wanted new clothes for their dolls.

Royden had fun with their gift bags.

Happy Birthday girls! Can't believe you are 8. Where has the time gone. I am so proud of you and the wonderful, kind, well behaved, smart girls that you are. Love you!
