Nice ambience...

Food wise, normal food but not bad the taste.

when we left, it was like 6 plus, and they were preparing for dinner.
the dinner is like "wow" amazing, saw a big fish lying on top of the ice and some lobster or sth.

Then i went bugis with Pr Chua... where we eat again.. haha

Also met up with yu, he came down after working for One eye Click for one day....

I cooked my own lunch
On monday, went to NTUC with jean and bought oyster mushroom and this vege...
Microwave it for 5 mins after washing
Adding of soya sauce, olive oil and some japanese sauce
and there.... my lunchI bought Avocados too, and hence i try out by trying to cut out the avocado but it was too hard,
Hence i microwave it for 2 mins and cut in in: the after avocado product Thats my snack today. Sweet potato and Yam... And ya, i mircrowave it again.
Well, it was pretty interesting isnt it.

I am thinking perhaps next week, i shall have capsican with some other vege and mushroom.
Jieying: perhaps you should try it as well, Since your workplace's food cannot really make it.

Tuesday: Went dinner with parents then fix the tax thing.

WJ: Very hard to say leh, maybe test me then next time i not that scare, or test my patient.

Wednesday: DInner at Turf City with colleague.
Yuhang was late and i was kinda pai say... Its maggie birthday that day, but one good thing is that the sharkfins really taste nice... and the durain cake yuhang bought for maggie.

Thursday: Group Outing
We went to 216, Yixiang's mom Rojak, then after that we went to liying house.
Well, i will say that it was a good trip. Nice food and nice company.

Michael tries to bring God into the whole group outing as he ask us how to prove that the Bible was real. Something he experience over the week after spreading gospel to a guy who is curious about Christian history. And so, yep, we touch a bit of Martin Luthur and yep, Martin Luthur King is a black and some other... hahaha~

* Finish Can you Keep a Secret? - It was quite a nice fantasy book actually, ROMANTIC kind... but like what Rev Chua say, reading these sort of books might not be v good. hmmm~~~

As I was preparing for this sunday ECS songs to be led.

Once again I am reminded of this song," Create in me a clean heart"

Well, my fellowship is going through 2 Samuel and we are ending of with the last chapter today.

I've yet to read the verse today but as I read the one yesterday, I am curious why Joab name was not included in the list of David's mighty man.

Seen the life of David. Of Saul.
Both chosen by God.
David is a man after God's own heart.
Saul, a reject by God.

I used to be afraid that my salvation might be lost after I read about Saul the first time when I was still a secondary school student. God chosen him isnt it? And he was rejected? did he entered heaven? was his soul saved?

I didnt know.

But after this time round that I went through Samuel with my fellow YFers, I was once again brought into the context of this book. Of this character.

Why was David a man after God's own heart after what he did to bathsheba and her husband?

Why wasnt Saul given another chance.

I was reminded of a phrase I heard in a sermon nowadays.

"God wants us to repent, not regret"

perhaps in life, i am very much sinful as well, but i wonder, did i really repent? or was i just regretting some action I did.

Or has certain sins in me became grey and inturn became white?

Has some sins in me that I have fed it so much that I no longer have the power to control it, leading me to destruction?

Indeed. I am once again reminded.

God, pls help me to repent for my laziness, for my lateness, for the displeasing things that I have done against you.

You are God and I am not.

Dear brothers and sisters who read my post. Are you willing to really repent as well? Pls tag me or message me so that we could keep each other in prayer. For it is not by our own self we can resist sin isnt it, it is by the strength of God in us.

Yesterday is china EO and so i have stayed at church the whole day.

Spend some time with some bro and sis discussing about relationship.


well, i believe now is a time where all ages of ppl are worrying over this issue.

Then i said, in that case you might not wanna choose that guy. cause it might be the wrong guy.





Actually God can works in miraculous ways but i urge sis and bros to get to know the person first (or at least long enough) before entering into a relationship. However i know v well that it is easier said then done. But a good way to not get hurt is to ask people ard for advices/approval as ppl will say "pang guang zhe qing" . Those outside the situation will see the situation better. Pr Chua will be a v good person i will recommend... If you are serious lah.. haha, cause many are "-.-" at her name.





Anyway my dear sisters who are attached, i really hope that we can pursue a God-pleasing relationship together, yea!! =)





Then CEO, before that kaien was telling me, we seldom pray eh. like doing things out of experience and not really prayer. Hmm.. i totally agree and sometimes i was even a bit reluctant to share the gospel, thinking there will be lots others that will be sharing.





However, Justin put yu and my name in. well, though i dare to say that we were both v unprepared, however, that moment when me and e dui yuan is sharing to 2 other guy, i was just like praying, 'God, pls empower me!!" I know that moment is really God's grace that i have the chance to be able to spread His good news. The 2 person heart was already prepared by God as well and yep. They believed. Praise God...


Am really touched at how God embraces me even though i am so harden in allowing Him to be the main focus of my life. My comfort somehow always top in my heart.

didnt know what to start with.

Posted YF blog, chosen a vid for passion week.
A more detailed focus on Jesus wherelse there are other vid which are really nice as well.
There is this video i saw, scenes extracted from Passion movie with the song "why". The creator of the vid literally took the girl and father scenes as well.
I dun bother post it here ba... you can search for it in youtube.

As for the vid i posted, it is a little gruesome actually. i also saw the scene which i didnt dare to open my eyes during the movie "Passion of the Christ". However, i remember one BS i had with Huiying. She told me what happen when Christ was on the cross.

It was not a simple as i used to think it was. i used to think that Christ is just hang and beaten. kinda thing like that and i never really look into the details of how He would have died on the cross.

but the truth is not so simple. perhaps he died out of lack of breath. In romans times, the beatings is really those ropes with torns. forget it... see the video and you will know the extend how the romans are sick.

I mean, if all this is on a v v v v v v v sinful person, perhaps still understandable. But this is on JESUS.. on GOD... He bare it all for us. haix.. Oh man... He is God eh.. what happen to Him...

But for one simple reason: He loves us and He is a responsible God. His creations went away and He used Himself to redeem us.

hmm... passion week.

FJ Benjamins SALES

If I was 1 hr earlier, i need not have to stand at the back of the snake shape que.
There is this guy at the other side of the que wearing this maroon flower embroided ted baker tie. I still remember I always saw the tie everytime i enter ted baker boutique, but the thing is that i've never asked for the price. I just didnt thought that it will be cheap but to tell you the fact, it was gorgeous. Not exactly a word you will use on a guy's item but i can imagine yu in that; and everyone will be saying:" THE GUY IN THAT TED BAKER"S TIE".


The que is moving fast and in about 10 mins later, I was shoved a white transparent plastic bag that was thicker then those you saw in NTUC and I entered into a messy high class market beyond the door.People are moving everywhere. Those with really classy taste by the way they dress and i believe there are some phillipines maids around as well. Before i noticed, my colleagues are dispersed into the crowds. Big signboards like Raoul, Guess and Gap are hanging around. With wordings like:

1 for $50,
2 for $80++
3 for $99


and


Raoul knitted shirt, skirt......
1 for $10
3 for $20++
8 for $56


Before i go on, i went looking around the pile of clothes which people around are GRABBING. I pulled out one and realise it was a Raoul Shirt, well, it was white in colour, with pockets on both the front, and it was quite simple but one for $50. I understand that it was really cheap perhaps. For a Raoul Shirt. Forget it. Too many people crowding around.


Hence i look around intending to find any of the 5 colleagues who were there with me. Oh, not to mentioned my boss is there too. But of course we didnt went with her, as a matter of fact, one of my colleague was considering not to go because she was there. Not really keen to explain the details here and i bet you are not interested too. There straight in front of me, people are taking and trying on shoes. Hence i walked over, and indeed my colleagues are there.


One of my colleagues have bought 4 pairs of Guess shoes yesterday and 1 Raoul dress. 2 of my colleagues has gotten 3 pairs of Guess shoes each and .... 3 pairs are $99 for your info. Normally each pairs cost like $80++ to $100++ in a sale and now this price. Buying shoes of this kind is an investment isnt it. If you buy 3 pairs, I will not need to get any shoes for this year already and what's more is that they are so affordable.


However, to my disappointment, those shoes are not really the kinds i will really want to get. Trying to look for those that are more plain, not so much of leopard skins, Big monogram, Bright pink colour and the most impt thing is that they are at least 3 inch. Well, I didnt want to make myself suffer in those shoes do i.


Then Jean caught me. She pulled me over, " Joanna, I think your friend will like this, mongram with platform. Come take a picture and send her" And I did. She took a Guess platform covered "stiletos" and waited for me as i took the picture and send it to Rebecca.


Ok, I am bored of typing like that cause that only comprises me 20 mins out of the whole hour of trip inside the SALES. And this is like the start...

"huh, serious, shit, i also feel like going, was thinking if i should miss an hour of lesson to go, i think i am going crazy, keep thinking about it"

"I really cant go cos i will go crazy 1plus sinliang not here w me to rationale my pruchase, (here come the classic) i m the live rebecca bloomwood.Everything that run thru her brain when she shop is exactly thru mine" - One more thing i knew about my sister here.. her shopping mentality could be compare with a person in the book i am reading...hahahahaha

Then i told her about my colleague who took leave to go in the morning.

"did they spend a lot"

so far they each gotten 3 pairs each

"u going down during lunch?"

"huh, then i dun go liao, usually such sales on 1st best"

"haha, yup u should have went yst"

"serious, but i dun mind going down during lunch, but i need to be back in office by 2pm"

"i think i shouldnt go la"

then i send her the mms of the shoe

"okie, gian le. size 5 or 5.5... gotta not v high 1? "

And the most awesome message i gotta from her is

"Get 6 pairs, i return u the money on sat. Dun wan too high, 5.5 size"

then i couldn get for her cause behind the counter the sales person are slow.

"there can reserve or not say the gal come at evenin? ya i cant concentrate at work."

Haha... well in the end i am not sure if she will go down. Just hope she wont get an overdraft like becky bloomwood.. hahahah

Main thing is, I am really excited over the excitment of the very SALES... perhaps i read too much shopaholics. And in the end, Jean, my colleague who went yesterday, bought another 2 more pairs of Guess shoe and everyone got really cheap and good buys. I wanted to get a dress $25 from Raoul and 2 skirts (not sure of the price but shouldnt go beyond $30) from Raoul, but my colleagues all paid aready as they were really fast. They had been queing since 11+am and that time is 1pm already. Hence i dropped all that i have chosen and went out. More than half of the ballroom I have yet to visit.




Ok, I am once again excited cause the salesmen wife who had helped the rest to fetch back their buys are back.

Today is a tired day. Been playing badminton with my colleagues for 3 hours.

And also, run around clementi CC during the break.

Today woke up, knowing that i am going play badminton with my colleague after work,
i spend half the time choosing what to wear so that i will take the min things to work.

thinking that it was coe bidding day, i knew i couldnt wear too lok kok...
so, i wore a dress with sports bra and wear my takwando shoe...
running down the road, to take a bus as i was late.
I believe the shoe did add to my speed.

Knew my usual bus will have pass by, hence i took another alternative
Got down at a bus stop near holland v intending to change bus but that was 8.35 already
took a cab then, cost $6.75 i just make it to $7...
Cab uncle thank me...
Actually its becuase i was late and i gave a $50/-

Well, had a nice dinner ystd with ylyx...
though nothing much came out for rubbish day...
but jsust gathering together is nice.
looking forward to the next one yea!!!

seems like a lot to blog actually but i've decided i should stop.
