So I guess it's been a while....Gosh! I'm so bad at this! To my few followers out there, sorry I'm not very consistent in my blogging. Hope y'all still love me though! Since our last blog we've been crazy busy and yet have still enjoyed this (HOT) summer! In June, we played in the back yard a bunch especially when I found a Little Tykes clubhouse with an attached slide (for FREE!!!) for Cole, Chris and I started teaching in Cole's toddler class at church, went to the pool and family came and visited. In July, more family came to visit for July 4th holiday, I got to go wedding dress shopping (not for me!) with one of Chris' cousins, hung out with my church girls, Cole went in for his 15 MONTH check up (What?????) and went to Arkansas (my home land!) for a long weekend trip in Fayetteville!! So far in August, we've been travelin' fools to Auburn, AL (just me and Cole for my brother's college graduation) and to Oregon (for a cousin's wedding and a beach trip), I celebrated my 27th Birthday and life hasn't stopped yet! Whew! We've been busy!

Sweet Maggie! This picture was from July 4th weekend, the last time I would get to see her. She passed away a few weeks later from an autoimmune defeciency syndrome. She was 11 years old and it was so hard to lose a sweet friend. We will miss you Maggie!!!

Even though Cole's birthday is April 19th, on Saturday, April 17th we celebrated Cole's first birthday with a Cowboy bash at our house. We had 40+ people come (14 KIDS!!!!) and we served burgers, hotdogs, chips, dip and cake for lunch. We had originally planned to have everything set up in our backyard but it had rained the night before and was sprinkling that morning. So Plan B was to move it all to our garage....thankfully it wasn't too dirty! We had SOOOO much fun! We are so blessed to be surrounded by close family and great friends! Thank you to everyone who came and helped celebrate our little boy's birthday!

So our little Cole man is about to turn one year old on Monday, the 19th! WHAT?????!!!! We cannot believe it has already been a year. He's supposed to be my little baby boy for forever! It has gone by way to fast!

So, here's where I need your help! We, as in me and Chris, have no idea what to get Cole for his first birthday. Do we get him outside toys, a wagon, learning stuff??? We have no idea! What do y'all think?

As of February 15th (not quite 10 months old), Cole is a walking fool! He goes anywhere he wants and gets into anything he wants (but only the things his momma will let him get into). Until recently he would walk with both of his hands high up in the air like to balance himself or something! It's crazy our little man is walking everywhere!

So....it's clearly been awhile. I will admit to not being very good at this blog thing and remembering to do it! I just wanted to show you a few updated pictures of our little Cole man. He is getting so big!! February 19th he turned 10 months old and he is walking!!!! Completely by himself! What????!!! It's crazy! But we are just loving being parents of the little guy and are having so much fun watching him grow! (Although it's a little bittersweet for his momma!)

Happy 7 month Birthday Cole Man!

Our little man is getting so big! At his 6 month check up, he weighed 17 lbs 5 oz so I'm thinking he has to be at least 18 1/2 by now! He is standing at the coffee table (holding on the the edges with his hands) all by himself. He is cutting his first tooth on the bottom! And thankfully he hasn't been extra fussy! And he started pulling/pushing himself forward this morning while on his tummy. I almost cried while watching him do it! He is just growing so fast!
