Easter 2012

Thanks to an awesome Grandpapa and Grandmeme, the girls had amazingly cute Easter dresses today! Which, of course, meant that I was looking for photo opportunities.

I bet you can imagine the thrill the children had with this idea.

Just in case you don't want to imagine, I did get a little bit of photographic evidence:

If I had Photoshop you would never know they aren't all happy, all of the time. I guess we'll just have to be real instead.

Lest you think I was torturing them TOO much, I want to assure you I treated them to breakfast at the Cracker Barrel. Isaiah was at church early getting the sound system to a place where we wouldn't be deafened by sneak attack feedback, so we had a girl's date. The little ones behaved wonderfully (proof there is a God in heaven) and we got lots of compliments on how cute they were.

This kind of reminds me of the See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil photos... except it's not like that at all.

By the end of the service everyone was happy and full of fun. This was taken about 30 seconds before Mikayla took a nosedive off the steps and skinned her forehead. I didn't get photographic evidence of that because I'm still afraid CPS will take my children away. They'd probably give them back in desperation and fear for their lives after 30 seconds, but, hey... I still carry the fear.

I asked them to say, "Cheese!" They thought that was really funny. I don't know why.

Once Daddy got free I forced everyone into one more picture to prove we're still married. I made the photographer include my belly so we can prove ALL children were there this year. And, have I mentioned that little growing bundle is a BOY??? I have no idea how we're going to be matching next year.

Is it just me or are we looking older and older??? (Don't say anything about fatter and fatter... please.)
Hope your Easter has been restful and celebratory! Thanks for stopping by... I've been blogging daily at StealingFaith.com, so stop on by when you get a chance!
