Slacker

Wow can you say slacker!? It has been forever since I've blogged. But that has been the last thing on my mind lately. *Sigh* I know, sad but true. Life has just gotten crazy! SO here is a little update.

We moved back to our townhouse in Daybreak.

Jace and I both had birthdays recently. They were wonderful.

I now sale shoes at Nordstrom.

Daya is getting lots of curly curly hair :)

And I am now in a country band with my brother Austin called "Relentless"

DIY and Special Finds!

So my friends introduced me to the awesome website pinterest.com recently and boy do I hate them for it! haha its very addicting (to their defense they did warn me!) But it got me in the mood to try out some of the DIY projects I found.

I haven't done anything with this desk yet, but I found it at The D. I. for $25 and I'm pretty proud of that purchase. Its perfect! I'm debating whether I want to paint it or just leave it. I guess Ill have to wait and see.

Then I found this GEM! I'm retarded and should have taken before and after pictures, but oh well. Daya's bows have been a mess forever! So I made a bow holder! I LOVE IT! And the grand total . . . . $5! How awesome is that!? I found the frame at The D.I. as well. I had some pink ribbon lying around at home and Wa La! I highly recommend it!

Summer Fun

Wow its been a long time. Here is a big update on our summer. It's been a blast! (Sorry the pics are a little out of order)

Our little Daya turns 2 in 2 days. We had her bday party for her and it was a blast. I love my little princess so much!

Daya LOVES the cats. She loves giving them hugs and kisses and terrorizing them in any way shape and form!

Daya loves her Grandma Lisa and Juito. :)

We had a blast going to the zoo with the Payton family. Daya loves playing with Isaac and Luke. I need a picture of them together because they are so cute!

We've also been hiking a bit because we bought a sweet baby hiking backpack. Its ridiculously heavy because Daya is getting so big, but its a great work out and a lot of fun!

Our 4th of July was a blast as always. Love family BBQs and fireworks and all that good stuff!

We went to Lagoon with Jace's family. We had a great time even though it was crazy busy. I'm excited for next year however because Daya will be able to do a lot more.

We have been swimming A TON! I've loved it! I don't want summer to end for that reason alone. Daya did swimming lessons and has become a little fish. Its a blast to take her swimming.

My little brother Brad is in Tae Kwando. And he is incredible at it! He only has a little time left before he is a black belt! He won first place at his latest competition! He is amazing!

Oh our silly little cats. Cougar is such fluffy long haired cat that we recently decided to shave him. He looks so funny!

Lynxs HATE S when cougar gets shaved because she doesn't recognize him and hisses and growls at him for days. She'll even whack him good if he gets too close. So we gave them both baths so that they smelt the same to help her re-recognize him. He looks funny wet!

I just love my little family. We have so much fun together and these two make me happier than anything or anyone! I'm so grateful to have such an incredible husband that I love so much! And Daya is the joy and light of my life!

Another Daya Photoshoot

Wow its been a while. Semi-good weather hit and I disappeared! :) Anyway, I have quite a bit to catch up on, but that will be another post, another day. For now, enjoy my new photoshoot with Daya.
