We have loved going swimming this summer! It has been nice to see the kids get more brave each time we go... even Katie. The first time we put her in the water she cried the whole time. Now she loves to relax and watch the kids play.

Played some games

Notice William's shoes. He couldn't fine matches, so this is what he wore all day.
Then we slept out in the tent again in their backyard and woke up to Grandma's famous pancakes.
Swimming lessons with cousins. All the kids did such a great job, and it was nice to get it done at the beginning of the summer so the kids can use their skills for the rest of the summer.
William learned to ride a bike and loves to ride his tiny bike. We did get a bigger bike, but got the wrong size. He can't even get on his new bike by himself. So I help him on, he rides around for a little bit and then when he decides he wants to get off, he just heads for the grass and dives off.
Katie is such a cutie. She loves to stick out her tongue. In fact, she sticks it out and can't get it back in again, without gagging. It has been out for hours at a time. It's a pretty long tongue. One day we were outside and she stuck her tongue out and wouldn't put it back in again. Pretty soon it was all dried out.
Jake and I were able to run the Wasatch back Ragnar race again this year with some friends from St. George. We had such a blast. Our team name was "Couples Therapy" #888. and our slogan... "Why pay for therapy when we have Ragnar... This is our couples therapy"

While we were running we saw this team running. They were a company team and while there were running they were advertising for their company which was backcountry.com. When each member of the team would run they would carry or use a piece of outdoor equipment. This guy ran up the summit at Jordanelle Reservoir, which is long and steep, while carrying a surf board!! Crazy!! Some would carry a big backpack while running, and one guy even carried a small tent, that was all put together, while running. But the craziest thing was when a guy went uphill about 7 or 8 miles on asphalt in cross country skies. We overheard him say that by the end of the run/ski his feet were burning because of the friction against the road. It is people like this that make running this race so much fun.
