Open House

Harding has their Open House in February. This year the theme was Harding Rocks and each class performed a song from the past. Ms. Brenda's class sang L-I-O-N to the tune of YMCA. These are some pics of Andrew doing the motions in the song. We went on a tour of hte classroom and saw all the wonderful things Andrew had been working on. He is really enjoying his kindergarten year:)

Last BB Game

This was Andrew's last Basketball game and really enjoyed playing. They had about 6 games and of course he got a trophy. That's his favorite part:)

Andrew's Sleep-Over

Andrew and Kisor have become best buds at school and they begged their mommies for about 2 weeks for a sleepover. So, after they both were encouraged to do their very best on their number badges in Ms. Brenda's class Kisor came over after school and spent Friday night w/ Andrew. They had the best time playing DSi, Wii, Star Wars lightsaber fights and watching a little TV. They were sound asleep by 9:30pm. They both had a Basketball game the next morning at 9am so this picture was taken at breakfast:)

Beautiful Day=Zoo

We have been expeiencing some crazy weather here in the Memphis area, as I am sure you probably have too. So, today was a beautiful 71 degree sunny January day. Yes, 71 in January but as I am typing this entry its 32 degrees with a chance of snow. Anyway, we got out and enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL day at the Zoo. If you haven't heard the Memphis Zoo is ranked #1 in the country:) It really is a wonderful zoo and so many other people had the same great idea to go to the zoo that day too. One of the newest attractions is the Grizzlie bears at Teton Trek. There are other animals like wolves and elk there as well. The kids love seeing the waterfall but today was special because the bears were so close to the large windows. We got an up close and personal view of them today. So close that Andrew and Piper both ran away from the windows because it was a little too close for them.

Pajama Day at Piper's School

Do you see my Big Girl?!! She is off to her Mother's Day out program for Pajama Day. Her teacher loved her robe so much she said, "If Piper's robe goes missing don't blame me.":) She asked me to make her Rapunzel hair that day.

Princess Party at the Disney Store

Here are a few pics of Piper and Haley enjoying the Princess party at the Disney Store. Piper and I made a quick trip to Mobile the weekend of Jan 22. We enjoyed the Disney store and then had lunch at Chickfila. We also tried on flower girl dresses for Aunt Macy upcoming wedding in July. It was fun and we enjoyed some girl time together:)
