We drove to KC Friday night for the annual Wilson family Christmas party. We stayed at Ashley and Byron's so Iz got some fun play time with Paisley... and learned how to drive a power wheel! Apparently we missed the boat on that gift idea!
I love how Paisley is holding onto Iz's shoulders.
I made another hat for cousins Chris and Olivia's new little boy.. I always feel accomplished after making one so I had to share it.. and they are just so cute!
We played in Paisley's tent in the morning.. Isabelle thought it was pretty cool and liked to try and enter/exit every which way, other than the front opening.
| Paisley is like, what are you doing? |
We got to go to the hospital and meet our friend's new baby girl Zoey Jane.. she's so precious! Congrats to our friends Kellie and Jack!!
How cute is this.. Henry giving his baby sister a kiss.. makes me excited for Iz to meet her baby sister!
Isabelle made herself at home on the hospital bed- playing with the bed remote like it was a phone.
..sweet little Zoey..
These two were so funny playing with cars and super heros, Iz had a blast!
We had to cut Iz's nap a little short {that's why she looks a little out of it on the way there} because we had Annabelle's first birthday party to attend.. such a fun filled day!
Happy Birthday to Annabelle!! She was a little timid of the cake + frosting at first, but she definitely got into it, it was so cute!
YUM!
Izzy girl enjoying her cup cake after the cake celebration! She had so much fun playing with Annabelle's cousin Avery!
So fun to see friends.. especially our now European friend Abbey, who was back from Germany!!
We went back to Lawrence after the party to put Iz to bed and so we would just be there because I had an appointment Monday morning. Izzy girl had an exciting surprise when she woke up from her nap, Sue Sue was there bearing gifts! She drove to see us in Lawrence briefly and give us some gifts from our family in Kentucky. Oh and we made a trip to Trader Joe's during the day {duh, I know}.. Isabelle had a blast with the stickers they gave her at checkout- thank you TJ's!
I wish I would have taken more pictures of her opening, but I was side tracked watching her. She was giving so much love to the super soft lamb- thank you so much, she loves it!!
Hurray for pots + pans for her kitchen!! We love the wooden toys, they are awesome! Thank you!!
Just using the oven mitt to pick up the pan.. such a smart cook already.
I think she was telling us she was making us eggs.
Thank you so much to our family in Kentucky for thinking of us this year while we weren't able to spend the Holidays with you, that was very sweet and thoughtful! We missed you all!! Isabelle loved opening everything and remembering who the people were that gave them to her from our visit in October.
One more thing... I saw this book at the library and just had to get it, I mean, that is Isabelle's line!
And I just loved the colors/illustrations + style of the book- perfect!
