Such a busy weekend!!

We drove to KC Friday night for the annual Wilson family Christmas party.  We stayed at Ashley and Byron's so Iz got some fun play time with Paisley... and learned how to drive a power wheel!  Apparently we missed the boat on that gift idea!
I love how Paisley is holding onto Iz's shoulders.
I made another hat for cousins Chris and Olivia's new little boy.. I always feel accomplished after making one so I had to share it.. and they are just so cute!
We played in Paisley's tent in the morning.. Isabelle thought it was pretty cool and liked to try and enter/exit every which way, other than the front opening.
Paisley is like, what are you doing?
We got to go to the hospital and meet our friend's new baby girl Zoey Jane.. she's so precious!  Congrats to our friends Kellie and Jack!!
How cute is this.. Henry giving his baby sister a kiss.. makes me excited for Iz to meet her baby sister!
Isabelle made herself at home on the hospital bed- playing with the bed remote like it was a phone.
..sweet little Zoey..
These two were so funny playing with cars and super heros, Iz had a blast!
We had to cut Iz's nap a little short {that's why she looks a little out of it on the way there} because we had Annabelle's first birthday party to attend.. such a fun filled day!
Happy Birthday to Annabelle!!  She was a little timid of the cake + frosting at first, but she definitely got into it, it was so cute!
YUM!
Izzy girl enjoying her cup cake after the cake celebration!  She had so much fun playing with Annabelle's cousin Avery!
So fun to see friends.. especially our now European friend Abbey, who was back from Germany!!

We went back to Lawrence after the party to put Iz to bed and so we would just be there because I had an appointment Monday morning.  Izzy girl had an exciting surprise when she woke up from her nap, Sue Sue was there bearing gifts!  She drove to see us in Lawrence briefly and give us some gifts from our family in Kentucky.  Oh and we made a trip to Trader Joe's during the day {duh, I know}.. Isabelle had a blast with the stickers they gave her at checkout- thank you TJ's!
I wish I would have taken more pictures of her opening, but I was side tracked watching her.  She was giving so much love to the super soft lamb- thank you so much, she loves it!!
Hurray for pots + pans for her kitchen!!  We love the wooden toys, they are awesome!  Thank you!!
Just using the oven mitt to pick up the pan.. such a smart cook already.
I think she was telling us she was making us eggs.
Thank you so much to our family in Kentucky for thinking of us this year while we weren't able to spend the Holidays with you, that was very sweet and thoughtful!  We missed you all!!  Isabelle loved opening everything and remembering who the people were that gave them to her from our visit in October.

One more thing... I saw this book at the library and just had to get it, I mean, that is Isabelle's line!
And I just loved the colors/illustrations + style of the book- perfect!

Last day at Patty's = sad day.

Our wonderful Mrs. Patty had to retire at the end of the year, so Isabelle's last day was at the end of the week.. it was such a sad day.. I was more sad because I know how much Isabelle loves all the kids there and Patty, just the whole thing.. she mentions going to Patty's and Patty almost every day.  I'm just glad she was able to go there for as long as she did.
She is all about opening the fridge and getting her
milk out {or yogurt, whatever} on her own.
Looking like my little gangster!
That would be her hat, Cinderella necklace {bling} + heels.
Oh and taking care of her baby while she sports it.

my little princess...

Iz was quick to put her Cinderella outfit on when she woke up... she cracks me up!
We sat down to have "coffee", it's actually tea, but for some reason she keeps calling it coffee... I love the way she says it.
And then had to take her baby, 'Susie' {her only baby with a name and she says it like 'su-see', no idea how she came up with that, but it's very similar to my mom's name.. mom? ;)} for a stroll in her car seat and stroller... with her Cinderella heels on!
I think she's telling me, "I'm taking baby to the store, get some milk... or babies going to the doctor, she has to get a shot."  She also says they are going to Lawrence or going to ride the school bus..
On the run!
"shh, babies sleeping"
She is so entertaining!

Merry Christmas to all!!

Iz was so excited to get downstairs and see what Santa brought.. she was very quick to get stocking and everything else opened up!
love that face!  Oh and her bed head of course!
She got a few clothing items and they just weren't as cool- we know, clothes are boring ;).
We had some time in the morning to put all her new toys together and play, then headed to Gigi and Papa's.
Iz digging deep into her bag to see what was in there...
A new super warm coat and hat!  The coat is a 'growing coat' which is kind of neat, so you can take out the sleeves and the hem at the bottom when it starts to get too short.. makes the coat last so much longer!  Someone was using their noggin'!
Oh man, was Iz excited to get her very own kitchen!!
Now she doesn't have to go to Harper's to play kitchen!
And a stroller for her babies... or her I guess?
Such a concentrated present opener.
"Oh my goodness!!".. it's a car seat for her baby.. now she has one to carry while I carry baby sister- perfect.
A princess outfit!!  Isabelle loved dressing up at Mrs. Patty's so this was super exciting to open!
Thank you Coop for helping to get those sparkly gloves on!
This was extra funny to me because of an Ellen episode- have you seen the one where she tries to put the hand gloves on with the long nails and can't get them on her fingers right in time when the show comes back on for commercial?  Anyway, it's hilarious and her hands look like Iz's do here with the gloves...
Love this facial expression...
Cheese!!  Riding in my stroller mom!
Just walking around with her baby, no tights + short dress and heels... no big deal.
Isabelle was hilarious entertainment on this reindeer.. you have to watch the video below.. she was out of control- you could tell there was no nap in the day and it was getting close to dinner/bed!
We had such a wonderful Christmas with family, we missed our fam in Kentucky, but it was nice to just be home and have Iz wake up Christmas morning at our house.  It's so fun to have a little around the Holidays, just brings back all the memories and the spirit of Christmas!  Thank you Isabelle for being so wonderful!  You are such a great presence and joy to be around... I love watching you grow and change!
