We had a fun weekend kicking off summer…we went swimming, blueberry picking, and to the fair.
Ethan at 4 years old
He is our eating machine, sports loving, lego and puzzle building, car and monster truck playing, book reading, super hero and ninja turtle loving boy.

We had a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Birthday Party to celebrate. It was a fun day with a bounce house, family, friends, and preschool friends.
Over Spring Break (Back in March), we visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium for the day with Papa. Both kids enjoyed seeing all of the sea life up close. Ethan especially loved all the touch pools and Emma loved tried to touch all the fish through the glass. The weather was beautiful so Andy was even able to fit in a round of golf with a friend at Poppy Hills.
Ethan played his first season of T-Ball this year and loved it. He was on the Toledo Mud Hens. It was so fun to watch. We were all bummed when the season ended. He did a great job hitting off the tee and coaches pitch later in the season. His team was even featured on the local news.
Emma at One Years Old
She is the happiest and smiliest little girl. She loves to eat, play peek-a-boo, read books, color (or eat the crayons), explore and get into everything, empty out drawers, and play outside. Emma now has 9 teeth, many of which just came through in the last couple weeks. She took her first steps a few days before her first birthday and is now walking all over the place. At her 1 year checkup, she weighed 20 pounds and was 29 ½ inches long (50%).

Happy 1st Birthday Emma!!!!
This past year has flown by with our sweet girl. It is hard to believe that she is already one. We had a Somebunny is turning One birthday party to celebrate. Aunt Alli bought her a sweet bunny dress and crown for the big day. The weather was awful that day, so we had to move the party inside. Emma LOVED her first taste of cake. Not surprising since she eats everything!!
On her actual birthday, she was pretty sick with a fever and ear infection. She spent the whole day in her pjs and sleeping.
