Ham Tower

We purchased a ham radio tower!

Took it down today!

Last summer Mike & I were taking turns going on bike rides so one of us could stay home with Madi. One of our ham radio friends heard that & gave us his bike trailer that their family wasn't using anymore! He said it was missing the hitch but otherwise in great condition. So we got the part and hooked it up! Last night we took Madi for a test ride.

I wish this pic wasn't blurry, but I think she is having fun!

It was cold, so it was a very short ride.

You can dress like this up the canyon, haha!
Pajama pants, socks pulled up over pants, work boots...

He claims that his socks are pulled up over his pajama pants so that this pants don't get grease from the chain. And he always changes into his pjs after he cleans up from work.

We're excited to use it this summer! Thanks Eric and fam!

well she did and she's good at it!

1 yr stats

Madison had her 1 year appointment today.

She is a whopping 15 lbs 11 oz!

Still in the 3rd percentile!

She did grow longer and is now 28 inches, 25th percentile!

I'm afraid she might grow up to be a stick like I was as a child,

but at least she is healthy and happy!

When everyone was out the other weekend for Madi's bday we wrote our names on our cups to re-use them. Well I had noticed this one but I hadn't taken the time (things were crazy busy!) to figure out who RBM was. The next day after everyone had left (and things had calmed down) I saw it again and just started laughing. It's my Dads and it's part of his ham radio call sign.

The neighbors cows keep coming into our field.
They usually hang out at the far end but they got really close this time.

The Easter Bunny visited Mike and I a tad bit late this year (on purpose). But he got everything for 50% off!!! Sometimes I really just want to celebrate the holidays (or the goodie part of it) after the holiday when everything is on sale! Your choices are more limited sometimes cuz the good stuff is cleared out, but we did good this time! And it saves a lot of money!

And if you like chocolate and coconut, then try these coconut filled hershey kisses!!! So good!
