Crafty Mood

So whenever I stay at my Mom's for an extended period of time I always get in a crafty mood and want to make something...cuz she's good at being crafty and helps me figure out (some) hard to understand online tutorials! So we made 2 pack n' play sheets using this tutorial. It was super easy and I love it! I dislike the store sheets for pack n' plays...they are too small and hard to get on. This slips on so easy!

She also helped Maggie and I figure out how to make nursing covers! So fun and cute! We kinda followed 2 different tutorials found here and here and made a few tweaks. I kinda got carried away and made a few extra...might try to sell them...

My next project will be an apron for Madi. She insisted on wearing one of Grandma's...and she had to help cook dinner.

This afternoon we watched some crazy storm clouds roll in. The snow is here and coming down hard now.

She had a great view from the windowsill :)

This girl knows how to climb too well...I guess she'll be a good rock climber :)

Visiting family

We had fun visiting with Great Grandma Wilkey. Madi loved cuddling with her.

I'm sure all of the little great grand kids play with her doggy and the tennis balls on her walker :)

Then we went to Beth's and Chelsea and Madi were "best cousins."

Whenever Chelsea was in a different room, Madi would ask, "Where's Chelsea?"

Silly Uncle Stew

We went to visit Stew, Maggie and Calvin a couple days ago. Madi had a blast playing with Uncle Stewart

Ring around the Rosies with Grandpa

Madi also likes to play ring around the rosies every night with Grandpa...Grandma and I are grateful to sit and watch :)

she throws a ball and then sticks her little hip out and just stands there, sure made us laugh!

She always has so much energy after dinner!

After lunch she was really tired and ready for a nap

When I tell her to close her eyes to go night-night she always closes them with her fingers :)

Running the hallway

Grandpa sure gets his exercise when we come to visit! Every day this week Madi has played this little game with him. She takes his finger and walks him to the end of the hallway. Then they say "Ready, Set, GO!" and run down the hall, through the kitchen and into the living room...where they turn around and run back to the end of the hall and do it all over again!

Come on Grandpa, let's keep going!
