Picture Update!

It’s been over a year since I’ve posted anything, but here are pictures of out new family of four.

First some pictures of Ellie from Easter. We took her to an Easter Egg hunt and they had a petting zoo and giant Easter bunnies and a great hunt for kids her age.

Now pictures of Emma. She’s been a fabulous baby. She sleeps all day, and now does 7-9 hour stretches at night. No room to complain.

Ellie and the Camera

This is a sequence of picutes taken of Ellie. They were taken by Brittany's cell phone. Needless to say she does not like cell phones.

Easter weekend

Here are some pictures of Ellie's first Easter!! By Jared, sorry I'm not to good with writing a lot but each picture has a caption.
Here a group of freinds that we had dinner with.

Ellie practicing her crawling.

She loves the grass?

With Katrina a Graham at the Easter egg hunt.

She liked the eggs more than the stuff in the eggs.

Loving the grass again.

Fun with mom.

OUR LIFE

Sorry it's been so long since we last posted. Life has been crazy. Here are a few pics of our family over the last few months. This is Jared submitting this post and I don't really know what I am doing so hopefully this all works out.
Ellie is growing up so much. She actually loves wearing her dads hats.

She LOVES to smile and laugh

That is one sweet mustache holding his favorite girl

She thinks she is so big when we let her sit in that chair.

She had a bad diaper rash so we gave her "naked time"for a few days and she loved every minute of it.

Ellie and I both reading our magazines.

Ellie at COSI on a playdate with a freind.

All of Ellie's freinds are boys. I guess that's what you expect when you are so beautiful.

One of the iceicles we got off our house, what a winter.

This used to be our Welcome mat on our front porch, as you can see we stepped on it when it was frozen solid. Not so "welcoming" any more, is it?
Here are a couple of home videos.

Few more pictures

These are just a few pictures of what we've been up to lately. Enjoy.

Here's Ellie after one her of first few feedings. It took her about 3 times before she actually understood we were putting food in her mouth, and that she enjoyed it.

And talking about baby food, this is Ellie's shelf in the kitchen. Thanks to WIC, we are well stocked with all the fruits and veggies Ellie can't wait to try.

I just couldn't resist taking the above picture. I love love Ellie's expressions. Can't you tell how thrilled she is to be taking a nap?
This is Ellie all hyped up for the BYU vs Utah game. GO COUGS!

We are also very excited that Ellie's hair has decided to start growing again. You wouldn't believe it by looking at her, but her hair is about 2 inches long now...but only in a strip right down the center of her head. The fact that her hair is pretty blond doesn't help her argument either, but the growth pattern sure makes for some fun mowhawks after bath time.

And on the subject of hair, she has enough for hair clips!...If you like the look of a flower centered right on the top of her head...

Here's her new trick with Dad. She's getting closer every day to sitting up on her own, but with a little balancing she can do this all day!

And we can't forget about Thanksgiving. We were in charge of pies and rolls this year. We decided to just do frozen rolls so we could focus on the pies. Starting at the top and going clockwise, we have a berry pie with a lattice crust (Thanks for the Recipe Mary! This pie was the clear favorite!). Next is the Pumpkin Struesel, Then a Raspberry Chocolate Cheesecake and finally a banana caramel cream pie. Mmmmm, it's too bad that all the leftovers are gone now.
