#2020

Oh my... what a year it's been. I haven't posted since January and almost everything has changed.... in February we started hearing about a new virus in the world called COVID -19 (Coronavirus). By late February it had come to the USA and by mid March we were on lock downs....  As I'm writing this with only two weeks left of the year we are back in lockdowns again with Christmas less than a week away. Since my last post Rob and I got married (3/28/20), we sold the Blackridge house, started construction on 46th street, Jason came home as Boise shut down the dorms, Caitlin graduated 8th grade over zoom and started freshman year at SFHS also over zoom. We managed to take a few road trips, a trip to Hawaii and lots and lots of bonding with Ally. Rob and I navigated working from home more all while kids were in/out and also doing school from home. Caitlin's last soccer games were the first weekend in March when her team played in a tournament in San Francisco. At that time the only modification was no hand shaking after the game ... now it's masks all the time and "social distancing" is a part of our every day behavior.  We miss hugs and sleepovers, movie theaters, dinner with friends and travel. We are all still very happy and healthy and looking forward to 2021. Here's a photo dump .... more coming later

2020 Kick Off Vacation

Caitlin and I are huge Gilmore Girls fans. Warmer Brothers Studio had the lot decorated as Gilmore Girls Christmas and I was dying to take Caitlin. So we decided to build a little vacation out of it! We rented a house right on the strand in Hermosa Beach. Chandler and Eric spent time with us too and we got to enjoy relaxing for a few days after the craziness of the holidays and before bringing Ally home for good.
