Day 9- a picture of the person who has gotten you through the most

This is my eternal family. Through the thick and thin of life they have always been there. My brothers are my best friends, the ones I look up too, and the ones I strive to live my life like. Each one in there very own way has helped me and been there for me no matter what.
Darren- When I was younger I was somewhat of a drama queen (come on, I was an only girl) Darren knew I was having a bummer of a day one day and had decided to take me with him and his girlfriend out on a date. He was such an awesome brother, he was just a teenager and decided he would take his little sister (who was somewhat of a brat) with his on a date. Seriously what 16 year old does that!!
Brian-I think it was before Brian went on his mission he turned me onto the "Phantom of the Opera" music. He would tell me all about the story of the musical, and I fell in love with that play. Well a few years back he and Lorie lived in L.A. and they asked if I could come down and stay with them and the kids. It was he and Lorie's anniversary and I was going to watch the kids. He was going to take Lorie to see Phantom and then they were staying in L.A. for the night. Well he (they) surprised me with a ticket to the play also. I got to go the night before and watch it before they saw it. I LOVE THAT PLAY!!!
Michael- When I was younger I had a boyfriend break my heart. I was so down on myself. My brother Michael came in a got me and took me out on a "date". We went and saw the movie 'Pure Country" (I know it was a long time ago) I thought it was so sweet of my brother to take pity on me like that and make plans with me to take my mind off of other things. I can always talk with him about everything and he is such a good listener, and someone I can always get great advice from.
Jared- I have been closest with Jared our whole lives. The older boys got to do alot of things together, but I was always stuck with Jared because he was the youngest and I was a girl. I have always had a fun time with Jared though. I loved when he came home from his mission for his surgery. I had to be his companion when he left the house, so we got to hang out alot. I loved when he and Callie lived in Cedar though. I always felt welcome to come and visit, and they were newlyweds!!

This is a picture of when I went through the temple. All my family was able to be there and it was a very special day for me.

Day 8- A picture that makes you laugh

So I laugh at the memory of this picture. Just about every year at work we dress up for Halloween. Some years I am completly into it, and some I just want to avoid it. Well this year in particular I wasn't really in the mood nor anyone else at my office. We couldn't come up with an idea to dress up in. We had a contest going between each branches of Cumorah Credit Union and I had to win. So I found this idea of dressing up as a pit crew of a Nascar team, and my manager Jesse Johnson is really into Nascar so I thought he would go along with it since he worked with all girls. Then I had the idea that since we were the pit crew, our sponsor would be Speed stick deodarant. Get it...Speed Stick..PIT CREW!! Well it was fun. I built this car out of a box and put it on a flat dolly that we rolled Ashley, our driver around in.

Day 7-A picture of your most treasured item

I don't have a picture of my WHOLE family, but my most treasured item would definately be my family. I love my parents. I love that I am their only daughter. I love my four brothers and I love that I am their "Sis". I love that with four brothers I now also have four sisters (in-laws). I love that I have 16 neices and nephews that think I am a pretty fun "Aunt Sissy".
I think to add to this most treasured items list though I need to add my temple recommend. With this it means to me that I have an eternal family. I have to continue to strive every day to live worthily to be with my family through eternity.

Day 5-A picture of your favorite memory

So this was from our first beach house trip as a family. This has got to be one of my MOST FAVORITE vacations EVER!!! We rented a beach house in Imperial Beach, CA in 2006. Is was the most beautiful place ever. The house had 4 bedrooms that we all fit into. The front yard had a pool and the back yard was the beach!! Literally, we walked out the back and there was the beach. Before we left, I kept trying to find things to do because I knew that there was no way I would have fun sitting on the beach for a whole week, well I was WRONG!! I didnt ever want to leave. I wanted to wake up in the morning and go sit on the beach, go boogie boarding, and swim in the pool. It was so much fun, and so relaxing. The weather was beautiful and we were so spoiled.
We spent the week out on the beach, playing in the sand, playing horseshoes, flying kites, building sandcastles, and boogie boarding in the water. We went one day to a huge mall, which was fun, but I just wanted to get back to the beach.
One day we had spent the day out on the beach. Aunt Callie being the best aunt that she is had taken time to put suntan lotion on all the kids. Well it was time to start picking up all our stuff for the night. We gathered all our chairs and towels to take up to the porch. As we were finishing up Callie realized her wedding ring was missing. She remembered that when she was putting on the lotion, she took her ring off and put it in the cup holder of the chair. We all panicked and started looking around everywhere in the sand, the GREAT BIG SAND BOX!!! We didnt know what we were going to do. Callie had all but given up, it was a loss. Jared decided to see if he could find someone who sold a metal detector. We called all around and found a Radio Shack that was till open and actually had 1 at their store. We went and bought it right away. Jared busted it out of the box and he and the other boys went out to the beach a looking. You wouldn't believe it but Jared actually found it, it was a few feet under this HUGE pile of sand that we used to walk up to the house, I mean it was a huge pile of sand. I still to this day cannot believe he found it under that pile of dirt.
This picture is of Callie, Lorie and I. Brian caught the most perfect picture of us all catching a wave at the same time. The best part of this for me is that I am so AFRAID of the water, but I finally ventured in and spent most of my time in it. The funny but sad thing is that in one day Callie kicked a dolphin and didn't know it, I saw a sand shark (remember me saying that I am deathly afraid of sharks) and Brian was stung by a stingray(that was the sad thing).
It was just fun being together as a family. We really needed to all be together and to spend this time with each other.

Alot of fun memories were made this week!

Day 4-A picture from your favorite night

I am not sure if I have a "FAVORITE NIGHT" but any time I get to be at Disneyland sure does land at the top of the list. This was from a trip to Disney World in November 2009. I had gone with a friend and her family from Idaho. It was our last night and we had bought tickets to a Christmas party at the Magical Kingdom. Well we were blessed with wonderful weather the whole week, except that night. It rained and rained and rained. The whole point of the Christmas party was to go when no many people were in the park and get to see special fireworks shows and parades. Well they had cancelled the first set because of the rain, so we sat around, we sat and sat and sat(in the puddles mind you) But I did make the most of the night. I couldn't just sit around, it was DISNEY!! So I became the photographer, and made everyone get in front of the castle to take crazy pose pictures. We laughed alot, and it made for a fun time.

Day 3- A picture of the cast from your favorite show.

I am a "FRIENDS" addict. I only missed watching 1 episode, which I have now seen a million times. I own all 10 season's on DVD, and I am embarrassed to say that I cried at the series finale. I watch the re-runs when they are on and laugh as though I am watching it for the first time. I love this show!

My new favorite shows now a days are
-Modern Family
-Office
-Glee
-Grey's Anatomy

...but I will always be a FRIEND.
