Jenifer and Family

On December 23 I became another little persons favorite Aunt. Little Hannah was born. She is my younger (little) brothers number 7. She is such a sweety and so cute!! Another little blessing in our family.

We had Thanksgiving Dinner at our house in Utah. It has been a long time since we have been the host. It was lots of fun, food and people. A beautiful day too.

And with that it officially makes her my favorite!!!

Yes its true!!! He has had enough, I've pushed him too far, the last straw, gone too far and all that. He will be going back to Montana without me. Boo Hoo. I really have a lot more to say about it but it involves a lot of 4 letter words about his girlfriend Connie (Conocophillips). Anyway maybe another time. In the meantime I will hold down the fort, keep the home fires burning, and maintain the status quo. Dang!!

Kyle made it home safely again yesterday. He was able to come back because of some stuff going on in SLC for work. I was telling him that we should go to Wendover for our anniversary or maybe even Vegas. He surprised me with a week long trip to Montana with him!!!! I am so excited to go. I know he will be working most of the time but I will be away from home and see some great country here and there. I can't believe it. Can I get a yahoo?!!!!

Today was much better. My bathroom is clean, my laundrey caught up, dishes are done and it was a beautiful sunny day. I have to thank Kylee for not pushing me off a cliff yesterday and for being so sweet and patient. She is such a good example to me. Thank you to Kyle for writing a really sweet email that made me cry in a good way. Thanks For Cole and Jessi letting Porter come over today and play peek a boo and reading with me. Thanks also to Mallori for the advice of a 70/30 ratio. She knows what I mean and for making me laugh really hard about it. and yes we cried in a good way about that too. A big thank you to all of you that I thought about today. All of you ( the you that I know) have been a positve influence in my life. I either want to be you, I am glad I am not you or be like you. Take that however way you want and have a great day. I did.

I had a bad day yesterday. Everything that I touched took longer, didn't work out how I wanted to and made me mad. I was on the verge of tears several times over the dumbest stuff. And you know I don't cry easily. Stupid things happened that on a normal day I would have brushed off. People hurt my feelings. I was stressing over weight loss (or lack there of), wedding plans, family and friend issues, good and bad, not working enough, doing too much, not enough time, too much time , dogs, a horse, 2 cats, test scores, colleges, being ungrateful, lost gold safety pins, paper cuts... Hey I didn't say my bad day had to make sense did I? It was just a bad day. Shut-up!

On Tuesday I decided I wanted to have a fun little project to work on. I thought it would take me a few hours and be really quick. NOT!!! Initially I just wanted to put all the kids school pictures down the hall, thats it. Then I thought wouldn't it be great if I put them by school year? Ok. Then I thought it would be nice if I took wallet size pictures of all the kids for all of their school years and compile a framed thru the years thing. mmmmm.......But I couldn't find a couple of the years in the 8x10 or wallet size so I needed to scan them in to print them out the right size. And that led to me deciding to scan all of the kids school pictures for all of the years. Needless to say it got way out of control but I have it done 5 days later and the hall looks great, the pictures are scanned in and its OVER!!! oh after three trips to the store for frames, broken glass, a cut on my hip (don't ask) and a broken flip flop. Come see my hallway its cute.

I am sure that if you lived in the West Haven area you felt the earth move about 4:30 in the morning on Thursday. You will be able to tell your children and grandchildren you heard it here first! It all started with........ Once upon a time...... It all began...... In the beginning..... Okay I am not sure what happened because I was sleeping then I was falling. I FELL OUT OF BED!!! What the???? Thats right I fell out of bed. I have been sleeping terribly because I hurt my shoulder (darn wii). So I guess in my tossing and turning I misjudged the edge (again I don't know I was sleeping remember) and tumbled over the side. I was useless in trying to catch myself because I didn't know what was happening. Anyway I may also have hearing loss because Kyle was yelling so loud asking me if I was okay. I am fine (thanks to the extra padding for just such an event) just sore.

So I bought the Wii fit. I have to tell you that I have found at least one butt muscle and pulled it. I love this game and I am working out too!!!!! We have had so much fun with this. My stomach muscles hurt from laughing at everyone playing it as well. Here is the breakdown of competition. Cole and Adam are way too serious about it and they are good at EVERYTHING!!!. The girls (Kylee, Mallori, Jessi and I) think its fun, will help us get fit and its funny if we do better than the boys. Kyle has been in MT so he has not been subjected to it yet but we are really looking forward to him doing the hoola hoop game.
