Jenifer and Family

Friday Porter and I were under the house in the crawl space looking for canning bottles. I was moving boxes around and trying to navigate the small space by doing crouching, crawling type movements. I was quite sure that several spiders were getting a free ride on my person and burrowing into my hair. Porter was busy playing, singing, closing the door and just plain being Porter. Once I made it to the fartherest most part of the crawl space Porter found the light switch. CLICK... then Scream!!!! It was pitch black. Porter was screaming and I could hear her little Dora shoes on the cement floor moving back and forth. I was a little disoriented because I had moved boxes behind me as I was looking through other boxes and sound echoes under there. I was yelling to Porter telling her it was ok and all sorts of other soothing things I didn't feel. Anyway I made it back to the light switch with Porter still screaming the whole time and flipped it on. Just as the light came on Porter went silent. We looked at each other and she said "I'm done." We left the crawl space as fast as Granny could get the the door open. I have no idea why Porter was screaming and doing a little dance. She wasn't scared or upset that I could tell when I got to her. Silly girl.
