Blog Slacker

I've not been good at posting photos the last several months. Maybe due in part to the instantaneousness of Instagram. Anyway, here are some photos from the last couple of months. Life continues to be full and plenty busy, especially now that the kids are back in school.

Back to school a month or so ago.

Clarissa is playing soccer this fall and doing great.

Alexis in the Park City pool in August.

Father and son campout a couple of weeks ago. Cold but fun.

Happy kids in Park City.

Couple of them guys.

Bear Lake in August. It rained and rained.

Lijah and the lake.

Carson, Clarissa and the lake.

She's growing and changing on a daily basis it seems.

Zion's Camp, Washington

We had a great week at a family reunion at Zion's Camp in Washington last week, visiting Christina's parents who are serving as missionaries there. It's a beautiful place with lots to do. The kids had fun hanging out and doing various activities with their cousins. We got some rain but it didn't hamper our activities.

The boys and I took the ferry to Seattle one day to see the Space Needle and a Mariners baseball game. More rain there but it was a great day.

We had a very nice trip.

A few trees around.

Readying to enter the paddle boats.

On their way back in.

Lijah and the forest.

Moss all over the place.

Carson on the range.

Baby on the dock.

So many beautiful things to see.

Lijah actually caught a fish, with the help of Uncle Lyle.

Fishers of fish.

Clarissa on the ropes course.

And in the woods.

Such contrast of greens.

Rope swing was one of the favorites activities.

Flying Lijah.

I can't remember if he fell in or not.

Little explorers.

The Northwest.

Sleeping baby, happy mom.

Ferry to Seattle. Cool and rainy.

Safeco Field for the Mariners game.

Watching the action below.

The kids loved the paddle boards.

I think this was supposed to be nap time.

Clarissa and Riley.

Me and some of the kids out in the rowboat.

Making giant bubbles. Lijah got a hang of it.

Carson climbs the rope swing.

A Bald Eagle tops the tree.

Uncle Chad has the kids riveted with some campfire stories.

Where Is the Year Going?

Time is flying by this year and I haven't posted anything for a while. Here are some photos from the past couple of months. Kids are enjoying spring now and getting ready to finish school and party for a few months.

Alexis still growing and changing. Sometimes even sits still for a photo.

Clarissa shows off her new hair cut a month or so ago.

Elijah played basketball this winter.  He loved it.

Carson singing away in the 5th grade program last month.

A few weeks ago at Pack Meeting, Carson received his Arrow of Light and Elijah got his Wolf.

We finally got a ski day in with the family. Clarissa got tired and hot and didn't last too long.

The boys liked the tow rope, once they got a hang of it.

Down they go. They made some decent progress that day, but we need to go more often.

A nice mountain hike a couple of weeks ago. Peace.

Three of my favorite silhouettes, throwing bread at the ducks.

This little fella just turned 11.

We had a simple party with the family, Grandma and Grandpa Jones, and his cousin Kayden. (and a tasty ice cream cake)

Easter egg coloring time. This is fun every year, despite the stained hands.

We kept her distanced from the mess.

Carson and Alexis on Easter morning.

These two look alike.

Sisters.

Alexis and the old people.

Grandma Jones arranged a fun Easter egg hunt for the grandkids on Easter. Here they sit patiently and await instructions.
