2 YEARS DOWN...

Well folks, we've made it 2 years!  I would write all the things about Jon that I love, but he would just roll his eyes and get completely embarrassed so I wont!  We aren't a romatic/lovey dovey couple in the least.  so...
in 2 years we've... 


had a baby
had 24 puppies
moved 4 times
got rid of a lot of debt!!! woo hoo!!!
I've gone from black, to blonde, to "mommy haircut" 
had several job changes: me a couple and then to stay-at-home mom! Jon changed careers
had to interact with some crazies (thankfully they're now out of our lives)
bought 6, (yes 6) bicycles and 3 trailers (don't even go there....)
and all sorts of little random things!!!


We still haven't been on a honeymoon (we want to go to Honduras), but maybe in the next 5 years when all chitlands are here and a little older!

Tannen's 1st Birthday!

I can't believe our little boy turned 1!  I know, I know everyone says 'it goes by so fast' and honestly it really does!!!  


Some of my favorite (and not so favorite) things he does:


babbles to himself and then fake laughs (my ultimate favorite!)
he can walk, but he gets around so much faster by crawling so that's what he does
he climbs on everything!  it's crazy, I don't even know how he does it!
he gives "muah" kisses, but only to his mama
when he gives loves he pats your back
he still poops in the tub and I don't know why!
he loves to stick his fingers up anyone's nose he can get a hold of
he gives the best dirty looks ever!  (I have no idea where he gets that from...)

anywho... back to the birthday.  


He begged us to go to the Jazz vs. Lakers game to celebrate.  We reluctantly said yes, but we had a blast!  Grandpa G, Grandma Char, and Aunt Choosh came to the game as well!  We also ran into Uncle Landon and Aunty Hailee!  SO MUCH FUN!  And the Lakers lost!!! woo hoo!

Terrible Blogger

Since our printer has been out of commission I've struggled to blog lately.  I have so many fun pictures of Tannen's birthday parties and I can't download them which sucks!  So here's just a quick update...


Tannen turned 1 almost a month ago and has started the terrible 2s.  He is my little tornado and is a beam of destruction wherever he goes!  He is starting to walk, but his little legs go too fast for his body or he gets too excited and tries to jump.  


T is definitely a little heart breaker.  He's got all the old ladies in our ward wrapped around his finger!  Our ward is all "nearly dead" and so he is the baby of the ward.  He flirts with them and it's hilarious!  


He also likes to draw on anything he can get his hands on.  His favorite toy is a highlighter and he drags it around the house pretending to color everything.  We're in trouble once he can figure out how to take off the lid.


To be honest I'm pretty bored writing this so that's all you get for the moment.  Hopefully I'll be able to download pictures soon and the posts will be much more exciting!

It appears that all his teeth are in fact real and he has socially appropriate hygienic practices- both extremely rare in the hockey world! trust me, we checked out a lot of players

If you know how to find him or know someone who does please contact either one of us (me or Lexie) ASAP!  Those babies aren't going to make themselves...

As a side note we (Jon, me, T, and Lexie) went to the game tonight and IT WAS AWESOME!  Fists were a flyin', one player was ejected, and during the 3rd period both entire teams (minus the goalies of course) got into a full on brawl!  Oh, how I love hockey!

It's about time!

After having this blog for a year or so I finally bit the bullet and decided to set it all up and start actually posting.  If you're looking for an entertaining or educational blog this probably isn't it!  I'm terrible at keeping a journal due to my OCDness of having to have my handwriting look neat and consistent every entry; therefore, typing is the perfect solution for that particular problem.  Plus, I love blog-stalking other people so it's only fair that I have one they can stalk as well, right?!? I apologize for grammatical errors and other such things as well (another reason why I don't journal), but stick with me and I'll try to push past that and actually keep a 'record of my people'.
