The Start....

We have a tradition in our family for the kids to get a new Christmas ordiment every year so when they move out they have something. This year we we decided to make them. The kids had so much fun trasing their mittens and decorating them.!
Abby's first time out in the snow this year. He loved it! Except when she would fall down in the snow then it was all tears.

Surprise!!

And no we are not pregnant! I am just going to attempt to caught up. I'm so far being that I'm not even really sure where to start.

I guess to start I will share our exciting new adventure of a new job. It was time for us to move from James' old job, things were not the greatest, and we have moved to Ancestry.com! It was an exciting move but not exciting. Once again James is back in Orem, which is sad, but he LOVES his new job!! It has been a wonderful change for our family, minus the distance.

I guess on to the cute kiddos! Abby rocking it! She is so full of personality it's a lot of fun to see what she is going to do.
Here is one of the few times of Daemon and Abby getting along. These too are usually at each other, torchering one another.
My parents came up to visit and once Abby warmed up to Grandpa she loved him. She got to "help" him on his computer. :)
All I have to say is I love this little girl!!
Halloween time! A time of fun, candy, and no sanity. It was a good halloween just crazy kids that were way to excited to go trick or treating. As you see we have a Captain America, Thor, and of course Tinkerbell, ready to go to battle!
"Wait!!! come back, we will keep you safe!"
And what is Halloween without pumpkins. In our family we rarely cave them because the kids don't like touching the pumpkin guts. So I found funny face pieces like potato heads for pumpkins.
And last of all for Halloween, I got to help in James' class Halloween party. It was a lot of fun and James loves when I come to help in his class. A girl in his class, her mother is a face paint and came and painted everyones faces. And I know, AMAZING, a picture of me.
James is still doing wonderful in school. Daemon is crazy as ever. And Abby is well crazy and so talkative as long as she knows you, or else she is very shy.

Yes, We are still alive....

So I know this is in a random order, but at least you can see what we have been up too. And yes this is a dinosaur sopapillas. I made them one day for breakfast and put cinnamon sugar on them, James loved them.
Our sweet little Abby likes to sit up and "color". She doesn't color for long or very much, it always seems to be more eating of the crayons than coloring, but she loves it.
And here she is in gorilla feet :D
Pretty, pretty girl!
James on his first day of 1st grade. I can't believe how fast life really does go by. The first day of school was a little hard on everyone. It was so quiet for the first little bit. Daemon missed James so much, he kept asking when he would be home. But, James loved school, and still is enjoying it.
Abby's first display of wall art. She is a quick one.
This was my latest project. My neighbor is having a baby boy so I made her a blanket.
Our annual trip to Lagoon. This is Abby on her first ride! She wasn't to sure about it but had a good time. Most of the time though she was in the stroller.
Daemon coming off his first big boy ride, The Bat. He was so scared but loved it and did so many more rides. Little James is getting big too. He was about to go on all the BIG roller coasters and James dragged him on all of them.

Cheeser smile!
We have been busy and having fun all summer. Hopefully I things will calm down a little now that school is in full swing.

Cake

I made a wedding cake for a good friend of mine this last weekend. I was nervous about it because it was my biggest cake to date, even bigger than the other wedding cakes I have done. It was very simple but still a lot of work, but I loved doing it. Congratulations Rachel and Scott!

Birthday Time.

I can't believe my little boy is 6 years old and starting 1st grade in the fall. Time has gone by WAY to fast. We started out the day with "cowboy breakfast" or commonly know as pancakes, eggs, bacon. For James I made him a "J" pancake, which was just so cool.
Later in the day we went swimming, but I didn't get any pictures really. Then we went to the Hospital, James now has to share is birthday with his new cousin. Because of all the new rules at the hospital's on the mom/baby floor James didn't to actually see his new cousin, but I did. He was a little sad about that, but excited he gets to share a birthday. Then we proceeded to his dinner request.....McDonald's! We enjoyed a family dinner and some playtime in the play place before going home to open a couple of presents and jumping as a family on the trampoline. Overall James said he had a wonderful birthday.

Then the day after we did our big family birthday party. We just had pizza and presents on our driveway, I know classy! I try to do something special for the kids every year for their birthday, usually a birthday sign, but instead we MADE the pinata to save money. It was very time consuming but worth it because James LOVED it and you can't really find one like I made. Hopefully you can tell it's 2 light sabers fighting. And instead of doing goody bags for all the cousins I put the candy and goodies in the pinata! I was worried at first how it would hold up to the first hit since it was home made, but it lasted a while I was quite surprised. I'm just glad all the kids got a chance.
Birthday Wish! James' cake wasn't all out because I was doing a wedding cake at the same time but he loved it and that's all that mattered., and it was an ice cream cake! If you can see I did utilize a McDonald's toy for James' cake :D
Some of James' favorite things:

Dad, and anything he gets to do with Dad

getting up WAY to early

Riding bikes, it is so fun to watch because all the boys get each other and ride up and down the street together, it's like a wolf pack

Bionicles

Legos

fighting with his brother

favorite color as of today is Black but it does change depending on the day

favorite food....McDonald's.....fruit/melons

favorite superhero is Dad and Spiderman

Loves asking questions!

Our New Toy

We decided the kids needed something outside to play one. We are not able to fit a swing set very well so we decided to get them a trampoline. And it gets their energy and wiggles out quite nicely. All the kids love it and so do James and I. We have had some family fun on it. Abby is okay as long as mom or dad are near, but loves being on it. The boys are doing great even learning how to do front flips already.

We hope to have many years of fun with this and eventually it will be in the corner of our yard, we are in the process of leveling out a spot for it where there is no grass and not in the middle of everything.

Where To Start?

Well this is kind of going to be a long one as I am playing catch up. We have been keeping ourselves fairly busy so far this summer. Every Wednesday we go to a movie at the Tooele Movie Theater. Even though it's old movies, and even ones the kids of seen, they love going to watch them at the Theater. Then almost EVERY day the kids go out and ride bikes. It is so nice where we live that there are so many kids around the same age as ours. When the kids go out to ride bikes they go to every one's house to see if they can come out and ride, so by the end there is a pack of kids riding around the street. But, it is sad a little to see that my boys are growing up so fast.

In June we went with some of our cousins to the Zoo. Daemon was SO excited to see all the dinosaurs there. For those not in Utah. The Zoo has some mechanical dinosaurs around the zoo that move and make sounds. The boys where having fun at the waterfall at the entrance.
Abby Chilling in the stroller. She wasn't always to keen on having to be in the stroller the whole time but did great and she did have fun looking at the animals.
I love the times that the boys get a long so well and love each other.
He the boys are with Daemon's FAVORITE dinosaur. Daemon loves the T-Rex and was SO excited to see it.
Abby loved riding the carousel, and just being out of the stroller. I think in the pictures she was talking to her brothers.
Abby also loves to playing with the boys masks. At first she liked to wear them and but she has come to like mom or dad to wear them and talk to her, she will just giggle. She continues to grow up so fast, and learn so much more.

MMM....mmmm....yogurt! I was busy getting everyone breakfast and Abby just couldn't wait so I just gave her her yogurt and she went to town and loved every minute of it!
So the Saturday before Father's Day Little James had a little accident. The James' went to help a friend move, and while there Little James made a friend. His friend had climbed up on the back of a pick up truck on the gate, so James decided to climb up with him and some how he fell off on to the curb and this is what he got.....
I know the picture isn't very good, I will have to see if James' phone has a better one, but he got a very fat and VERY bruised lip. The inside of his lip was BLACK. He also got a mild concussion. He was lucky though and didn't break any teeth or break open the skin. He was a little sore and had to stay calm for a couple of days. But, he did great. Here is his lip I think 4 days later, much better.
For Father's Day I found a cute idea and we made James' a card and the kids all signed it.
And last of all....Abby got her first haircut! I loved her little curls but she was getting a baby mullet so it was time to cut it off.
The after picture isn't the best since she laid on it before I took the picture.
