We have a tradition in our family for the kids to get a new Christmas ordiment every year so when they move out they have something. This year we we decided to make them. The kids had so much fun trasing their mittens and decorating them.!Abby's first time out in the snow this year. He loved it! Except when she would fall down in the snow then it was all tears.
And no we are not pregnant! I am just going to attempt to caught up. I'm so far being that I'm not even really sure where to start.
So I know this is in a random order, but at least you can see what we have been up too. And yes this is a dinosaur sopapillas. I made them one day for breakfast and put cinnamon sugar on them, James loved them. Our sweet little Abby likes to sit up and "color". She doesn't color for long or very much, it always seems to be more eating of the crayons than coloring, but she loves it.
And here she is in gorilla feet :D
Pretty, pretty girl!
James on his first day of 1st grade. I can't believe how fast life really does go by. The first day of school was a little hard on everyone. It was so quiet for the first little bit. Daemon missed James so much, he kept asking when he would be home. But, James loved school, and still is enjoying it.
Abby's first display of wall art. She is a quick one.
This was my latest project. My neighbor is having a baby boy so I made her a blanket.
Our annual trip to Lagoon. This is Abby on her first ride! She wasn't to sure about it but had a good time. Most of the time though she was in the stroller.
Daemon coming off his first big boy ride, The Bat. He was so scared but loved it and did so many more rides. Little James is getting big too. He was about to go on all the BIG roller coasters and James dragged him on all of them.
Cheeser smile!
We have been busy and having fun all summer. Hopefully I things will calm down a little now that school is in full swing.
I can't believe my little boy is 6 years old and starting 1st grade in the fall. Time has gone by WAY to fast. We started out the day with "cowboy breakfast" or commonly know as pancakes, eggs, bacon. For James I made him a "J" pancake, which was just so cool.
Later in the day we went swimming, but I didn't get any pictures really. Then we went to the Hospital, James now has to share is birthday with his new cousin. Because of all the new rules at the hospital's on the mom/baby floor James didn't to actually see his new cousin, but I did. He was a little sad about that, but excited he gets to share a birthday. Then we proceeded to his dinner request.....McDonald's! We enjoyed a family dinner and some playtime in the play place before going home to open a couple of presents and jumping as a family on the trampoline. Overall James said he had a wonderful birthday.
Birthday Wish! James' cake wasn't all out because I was doing a wedding cake at the same time but he loved it and that's all that mattered., and it was an ice cream cake! If you can see I did utilize a McDonald's toy for James' cake :D
Some of James' favorite things:We decided the kids needed something outside to play one. We are not able to fit a swing set very well so we decided to get them a trampoline. And it gets their energy and wiggles out quite nicely. All the kids love it and so do James and I. We have had some family fun on it. Abby is okay as long as mom or dad are near, but loves being on it. The boys are doing great even learning how to do front flips already.
Well this is kind of going to be a long one as I am playing catch up. We have been keeping ourselves fairly busy so far this summer. Every Wednesday we go to a movie at the Tooele Movie Theater. Even though it's old movies, and even ones the kids of seen, they love going to watch them at the Theater. Then almost EVERY day the kids go out and ride bikes. It is so nice where we live that there are so many kids around the same age as ours. When the kids go out to ride bikes they go to every one's house to see if they can come out and ride, so by the end there is a pack of kids riding around the street. But, it is sad a little to see that my boys are growing up so fast.
