Well...fall means MEAT! So this year after the elk was hanging in the barn, JD ordered a VERY LARGE MEAT GRINDER. He said bigger is better!(why doesn't he think that about my backside?) anyway last night we cut jerky strips, and ground all the other meat, made sausage and meat sticks. So...guess what you are getting for Christmas?? haha

Good Montana Morning!

I wanted to tell everyone that I am so thankful for all the blessing we have recently received. Starting with Tanner returning safely from Argentina, then a very fun summer enjoying all the green in Montana, an incredible trip to the Mediterrian countries for our 30th anniversary and returning to hear the frightening news of Porter's accident...only to watch a sweet little spirit have a complete recovery..and last week the blessing of the safe arrival of Benson. Wow! My kids and now their kids are the light of my life...how could heaven be any better?

One foot belongs to a BYU freshman, one foot belongs to a former track star who is 9 months pregnant, and one foot belongs to a Grandma who thought blue dotted toes would be a great way to welcome Benson...guess which feet!

Oh what a wonderful experience to see this new little one born! Thank you Carlee and James for making a Grandma very very happy! Welcome BABY BENSON!!!

Oh...this is my 30th Anniversary Ring! Thank you JD...tanzanite and diamonds, and I got a name kartuche from Egypt, and a Greek Key ring from Santorini, it was a good trip for momentoes!

Don't you think JD makes a "good camel jockey"? The pyramids were amazing and we are sure that Egypt needs them. We enjoyed and marveled at the sites but...not a place to build a summer home!

We just returned from the "trip of a lifetime"! ( I must have worn JD out making wishes to return at every fountain in Italy...his one eye looks a little slow!! haha)

Coriann and I headed down to Provo for a week of volleyball, shopping, pre-college arrangements and visiting with Carlee. The morning we left "somebody" thought it would be a great idea to hike the "Y". It was!

Traveling in the camper...way beter than a tent...or a cheap fishing motel!haha











This is a long story...but Coriann is happy and fishing! a good combo!

JD and Tanner wanted to go fishing (like for days and days!) so Coriann and I said we will arrange the hotel. So we bought a camper! Made the deal and hooked it all up! They were amazed! Wahoo...it was so fun. The girls do like fishing!

I turned around...and Grandma was drinking out of the jug!! I thought that was a picture that none of us would EVER see!! haha

Each summer when we come JD and Camry have a "little bet"...well we are running out of bugs...so we are on to snails!! YUCK!! but as you can see $3.50 still means something to Camry.Good job cutie!

We headed to Wyoming for the 4th to see Grandma! Tanner was excited to see Star Valley again after his mission. We did yard work, walked to the Spring, roasted hot dogs, went to a rodeo and Tanner and Dad taught Sunday School. Fun trip!

Back in April...a great trip to Maui, Carlee was able to join us. We had so much fun...thank you Aunt Diane and Uncle Firoz...your place is beautiful! I loved the boogie board thing with the dolphins.

Last week JD and I dragged ourselves on a plane to Ixtapa Mexico! One week of sun, warm weather, volleyball, water aerobics and banquet style food...oh yea and classes! Well, classes for JD not ME! We had a wonderful time and I got a little tan...wahoo!
