On Max's birthday, we went out to dinner at the RainForest Cafe...we parked in front of Sears and walked through that store at the mall to get there. On the way out...we saw this:

Bestest Baby Ever

We had Max's birthday party today...outside...more on that on tuesday on iCandy :)

and this tiny girl was so, so, so good!

She really is the bestest...and I mean it...baby ever!

and stinkin' cute, too!

man, we're lucky!

She's 4 months old, but had a mullett going on. So, we had to cut it...just a little off the back. We just need to give her top hair...which is significantly long for a 4 month old some time to catch up with the back!

Max! 6 years old

Max is finally 6 years old! He's been waiting for this day for FOREVER!

We started out the day with balloons covering his bedroom floor. Here's his first picture as a 6 year old

He had a fun day dictated mostly by him!

His friends Shelby and River delivered him a birthday breakfast from our favorite donut shop.

We headed to a fun new beach for the day where there is a dock to swim out to with Molly and Jaxon and our whole family, and it was such a beautiful day...we loved it!

After spending the whole day at the beach, Max wanted to go to the Rainforest Cafe for dinner...and he wanted to bring his bestie, River.

Here are the two crazies that have been getting along famously lately...they love to wear their army garb and go on nature hunts, and exploring for bugs...and spying of course. They also love to ask if they can take off their shirts...wacko sauces.

Scarlet: 4 months

holy cow...it's been 4 months since I had a baby!

She's is still the most perfect baby in the world...seriously!

We had her 4 month check up today, and here are her stats:

Wt: 14.1 lbs (69th%)

Ht: 25 in (74th%)

perfect.

She is so smiley...all the time; i love it! She's so happy constantly, rarely cries...she does so well at the beach, at the pool, in the car, on the floor playing, in her high chair, watching the world. I feel so lucky to have her! What a doll. Here are some random's of little Red.

oh...and this crazy reading fool...he's so cute! and loves the whole passport/stamp thing going on with the Magic Treehouse books...total motivator! he's read so many of these books this summer, it's awesome!
check out the passport thing {here}, if you want. (you print out a little hand-made passport on the website. As you read each book, you answer questions about what you read...just a few...and if you get them all correct, you can print out a stamp to glue into your passport. Super fun!) I love that he LOVES to read, I'm gonna take credit for that one, because I've loved it all my life, too!!!
