Oh the beach! I had no idea until I didn't have access to it, how much I would miss it. Granted, on this day it was nice and sunny UNTIL we got to the beach then it was cold. Coming from over 100 degree weather to 65 was quite a shock!
Being with Rachel though was the best part. And don't get me wrong, I am NOT complaining. I was looking forward to the cooler California weather. =)
After all the time we have spent together this is our first picture. We didn't get one at the surprise birthday party she threw for me or any girls nights we went to. This was on my "must do" list for when I went to California. Really. I'm not even kidding.
Okay so the reason I was in California was because my Dad and Ruth were getting sealed. I didn't think I was going to get to go, but thanks to my brother Mark, I was able to come! THANK YOU MARK!
I had so much fun spending time with my family. I wish that MY family could have come, but school had just started and plane tickets are not cheap!
The pictures are pretty self explanatory. Just me and my nieces and nephews having fun. :) Plus the siblings too.
Enjoy! I know I did.
Rock kids doing pig faces. We got stuck in serious California traffic on our way to the temple. I almost missed it. The WHOLE reason I went almost got ruined by typical California traffic. And we left in plenty of time too!

I don't think I will ever be able to call him Michael. Mike or Mikey.
So that was my fun and quick weekend to California. It was awesome. I had a blast and was gone long enough to get a break from my daily life and be glad to get back home. Thanks Jeff for letting me go and taking such good care of our boys. Oh and for the clean house, that was great too.
