Legoland

Labor day weekend we had no soccer games so we decided to spend the whole day playing. First we went to the museum. Where the boys learned how to spin plates. Then we went to the Grapevine mills to walk around. It turned out that legoland was not sold out and I had the coupons and we decided to go in. the boys had a good time but I won't be doing it again anytime soon. We only paid for me, Jeff and Zack and it was still 50 bucks. So we paid all of that for them to play with Legos. I'm glad we could do it, but I'm probably not going to do it again. Lol. We had lots of fun being together though, and thst is what matters most. I love my boys so much!

First Day of preschool, 1st and 3rd Grade

Andrew is a big 3rd grader this year. Third grade was my favorite year in school. He has Mrs. Brown this year and so far he loves her and the class. I think Andrew overall just loves school. :)

Ethan is in 1st grade and has Mrs. Woods. She is the perfect teacher for him. She makes things fun and she has so much personality it is fun to watch her with the kids.

Zack is in preschool. He will be in Kinder next year. Where has the time gone? He will be young, I have pretty much made up my mind that he will go to kinder next year. I don't have the same worries with him as I did with Ethan. He goes to Ms. Becki's preschool and he loves her too. He struts, there is no other way to put it, when he comes out of school and gets in the car. He feels so big and he can't wait until next year when he is at the same school as the big boys.

I am involved even more with the school, and PTA. I think I may have over done it a little too much honestly. But I love doing it! I really do. I'm in charge of counting and collecting box tops for our school. So if you get these and don't have anyone to give them to, send them to me!! :)

Treasures from Toys R Us

I don't know if you guys have this issue with your kids, but when ours get paid their allowance, they want to spend it right away! They complain later that they didn't have enough to get a toy they ACTUALLY wanted, but they will not listen to you when you preach "Save! SAVE!SAVE!!!" They have to put parts of their allowance into different "accounts" but this is their extra money that is left over. It is meant to be blown I suppose, but it is hard to watch them waste their money sometimes. In this case it wasn't really wasting, just not exactly what they wanted. At least in Andrew's case. Oh well. They had fun and were busy and occupied for a long time and that is what matters. Well at least to me! :) HA HA!

Ethan was in Heaven. He loves Lego's and they are spread all over my house to prove it. He has now started creating his own lego creations. It's fun to watch.
Zack isn't quite ready for lego's so he got a monster truck and a tool box.

And just in case you think we give them lots of money, I think this was a trip that we "supplemented" a little in celebration of the fact that WE ARE OUT OF DEBT!!! Woohoo!!!

Zack

How can you resist this face? I love this face.
