Charlie, our precious pup, absolutely LOOOOVED Halloween this year! He couldn't get enough of the kids coming to the door. He was so sweet and let everyone pet him and ooooo and ahhhh over his costume!!!
Our lil' honeybee waiting for more trick-or-treaters!
His eyes never left the door! Most of the night, he sat right here!
I celebrated my GOLDEN birthday all month long! (My Dad was amazed at how I was able to stretch out the birthday celebration for so long!)
My family came up a couple weeks early, and we celebrated by having a girls day at Mistletoe Market followed by dinner at Red Prime! It's always nice to spend time with the fam, in OK!
In Jeff's family, there are lots of October birthdays so, we celebrated together at Cheevers! A favorite restaurant of mine! Sure didn't mind the great company, as well! Love sharing my birthday with those I love!
On my actual birthday, we had dinner and drinks with friends at Blackbird on Campus Corner! (I had to make sure I selected somewhere that of course had TVs so we could watch the Rangers!!!)
Kim, Jenny, Sarah and Me
Rachie and Me
Sweet Katy
The Faisons made it out, as well!
These girls are definitely troopers! For those that don't know, my birthday was on the CRAZY game night! Where the Rangers had several chances to WIN the game! There was never a good time to leave so, we ended up staying at Blackbird until it ended... way past midnight, we felt like we were in college again... Friday morning was not fun getting up for work!
I spent my birthday weekend with great friends and family! I'm truly blessed and, can't wait to see what my Golden year has in store for me!!!
Growing up, I can't think of a single time that the Rangers weren't a part of my life! We've spent countless summer nights watching our Rangers, whether it was, just a family outing, the All-Star Game, Homerun Derby, opening day, Nolan Ryan's infamous games at the old stadium or celebrating Roger's birthday with all his friends, watching our favorite team!
For the past two years, the Rangers have not only been our favorite team but, they're now the best team in the American League!!! My Dad spent one whole morning on the phone trying to get tickets for the World Series and, guess what?! HE DID!!!
Jeff, Roger and my Dad went to the game Sunday night, while my Mom and I stayed home to watch! (Don't worry, we went the next night!)
They made it out in time for batting practice and all the pre-game festivities!
They had amazing seats!
Love this show! Ranger Stadium is so beautiful!
The next night, Jeff had to head back to Norman but, I stayed and a Fenn family night at the game! (Just like old times!)
Our seats were not near as good as theirs the night before, so, we made our way to the Diamond Club and watched from a table inside! (Not too shabby!)
My SIL just celebrated her 30th Birthday and, Jeremy wanted to surprise her with a party with friends and family!!! While he was distracting her, Jeff and I ,along with her friend Katy, set up the party at their house!!
Katy made the adorable banner and, Jeff's Mom made special cookie bars that Nicole's Mom (who lives in Cali) always made for her growing up! Such a special surprise!
Here she is, reacting to the surprise!!! (They just moved into the house and, Nicole is testing out paint colors for their living room!)
Sweet, sweet SIL! You're such a blessing in our lives! We love you and hope your 30s are even better than you could ever imagine!!
One of my sweet sorority sisters lost her Mom to breast cancer in early October. (One week before the Race for the Cure)
Some of us had planned on walking in the race in honor of her Mom and we were so sad to hear that it would be in memory.
Sarah is an amazing woman and truly loved her Mom. We spent the walk, listening to her talk about her Mom's battle and how she was with her from the very beginning. I was amazed at her strength and can only hope to be like Sarah if I am ever in her situation. Such a blessing she is to everyone around her and, I know she is going to do so many great things in memory of her Mom!
Here's the group, about to start!!!
Look at that crowd! Clearly, there was no running for us, we were barely walking at some points!
It was a beautiful morning to honor the women we know that have fought the fight!
OU-Texas weekend is definitely one of my favorites of the fall football season! No matter either team's record or rank, it's always a fight and, SO MUCH FUN!!!
This year, Jeff and I decided to leave our lil' boy at Grandma's and we headed straight from Norman to Dallas, to meet up with great friends!
Jenny was in from Tyler! Love this girl!
Jeff and Joel usually take a "thumbs down" picture, EVERY TIME... this is rare to actually get smiling and somewhat of an awkward hug!
Great girls, enjoying Katy Trail Ice House!
Leaving the 'rents house, to head to the Cotton Bowl!!
Eeeek, I was so excited! OU-Texas is like Christmas morning!
I believe this is the 3rd quarter... look how empty the Texas side is!
After the win!!!
Poor Texas, 55-17!!!!
One last picture, before we separated from the group to enjoy the State Fair of Texas... woo!! (It's always more fun when you win!)
OU football season is a huge part of our fall! Since we live in Norman, are OU Alums and, have season tickets, you can bet that we are on campus on Saturdays!!
We had to miss the first game of the season because of Leigh & JJ's wedding. (Definitely worth it!) So, here we are heading out to our first game of the season!
Rachel and Joel started a tailgate this year which has been soooo fun to go to! Love spending Saturday's with them and, there's always tons of great food!
One Saturday we got Jeff's Dad's seats and were right on the 50 yd line! (Our normal seats are north end zone, which are great, but, this was definitely a treat!)
My absolute favorite part of the game is watching the intro video! Sooner Vision DID NOT disappoint this year!!! Check it out below!
After the video, when all the players come down the tunnel and on the field, it's just pure excitement!!!
Hello Captains and Coaches! (LOOOVE THESE SEATS!)
This game doesn't even deserve to be blogged... our team didn't show up, our fans barely kind of did, the sun definitely didn't. Have no fear, humidity did, though! GROSS!
Heading into the stadium... the sky was about to open up!
We spent the rain delay, inside the tailgate tent... after that, nothing important happened, just the first loss at home in a loooooooooong time!
Despite that loss, football season has been a blast, as always!!
