The Spaulding Way

The Stubbs Family came and visited us for a week in August and we had a blast. We did so many fun things and I think Rhona misses the kids the most. She loved having so much attention and so many kids to play with. It was a fun filled week and I will fill you in on all the details shortly. Many more posts to come!

We had the pleasure of having Vance and Lisa visit for an evening. We took them to Pizza Chicago and played a close game of grueling horseshoes. We had a lot of fun visiting and hanging out together. We are so glad they were able to stop by on their way to San Francisco.

Oops, I forgot a little adventure we had over our 4th of July weekend at the Stubbs. We went and saw the hoover dam. We really went to see the new bridge over the dam which is incredible. What amazes me is how they were able to build such a thing. I saw it 4 years ago when it was build halfway. There was some of the road built on both sides but it wasn't connected in the middle. It was crazy and now it is done, well no cars are aloud on it yet. Anyway, a short little post to remember this jaw dropping sight.
