The Spaulding Way

I found a great playground that is very toddler friendly and CJ loved it! I love to be outdoors here in the beautiful green east coast. I don't love the humidity but I will take it if I get to enjoy the beauty it brings. CJ is learning new things everyday and this particular day it was fun to watch him explorer this new playground.

I am not a huge fan of the fohawk but I gave him a pretty bad haircut the night before and the fohawk disguised it very well so despite Jeff's disapproval, fohawk it was that day.

What a beautiful day it was....so we decided to spend it in D.C.. We LOVE D.C.. So much to see and do and learn. We have "toured" DC quite a few times now after being here for over a year but still have only seen a glimpse of all there is to see there. Jeff and I both love history and history is in every corner of that place. This trip we planned go to the Air and Space Museum, which we did as planned. Although, we only saw a small portion of the huge museum. (having a one year old along makes it a little more difficult to do and see as much as I would like, but that's ok). We also did a few other things that weren't as planned....

Rode the longest escalator I have ever seen...a little frightening if you ask Jeff

Went for a beautiful walk....a planned 10 minute walk turned into an hour walk after getting a bit lost...but it was worth it!

Ate at Jumbo Slice!! Yum!

CJ had a blast running all over the museum looking at all the airplanes and rockets! Maybe one of these days I will actually get to do a little more reading instead of chasing at the museum.. :)
