The best little singer ever!

Zoey has been singing "Santa Clause is Coming to Town" for a couple of weeks now. That is the song that she did her dance to. You'll notice that she has to say "toe touch" after Santa Clause is Coming to Town...guess that's what her teacher would say in class! Here is a cute little video of her singing away!

Christmas Eve Picture Time!

Christmas Eve!

Christmas Eve is always so much fun. We started out the day going to lunch with Grandma Marie, Grandma Knighton, and Kimmy! We went to Marie Calendars, and were able to enjoy some time with Grandma. After that it was off to the Spencer's. They always have a nice dinner, and have a little program. Each of us have to do our part in the program. We all sing songs, read stories, and play games. Singing time is quite hillarious. We had to quit singing "Frosty the Snowman" because we were struggling a bit! It gives us all a good laugh though! Martha likes us to play the bells, and we struggled with that too! I guess we aren't the most musically enclined bunch of people! Chris chose to read "The Night Before Christmas" this year. Shanna was going to read "The Grinch", but instead just had to flip the pages for Taylor. Taylor is 8 years old, and has the ENTIRE story memorized. It is quite amazing. We were all in awe of her! Mark and Joann brought Bingo for us all to play, and had some great prizes to win! Ben and I brought Pictionary, and we all had a fun time with the boys going against the girls! I'm pretty sure the girls won! After all this was done...we had dessert. Rootbeer and Sherbert floats...yummy! Then the wait was over, and Santa finally arrived! The kids loved seeing him, and so did Joann! She even got a kiss! We were all able to open our presents, and pass the ones out we brought to everyone! I think we all enjoyed our gifts! The kids loved their quilts that Grandma made for them. That was a lot of work! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for all the hard work you put into dinner, and the program. It sure makes for a special night!

Our little beauty in her Christmas Dress!

We just had to show off how darling Zoey looked in her Christmas dress. She has been wanting to wear her "beautiful dress" for sometime now, and she finally got to wear it on Sunday. She looked so cute, and was more than willing to pose for the camera!

Sledding Time!

On Friday we got another huge snow storm! We were so glad that Ben wasn't able to work because of all the snow! He was able to come home early and play with Zoey in the snow. He bought her a big sled that we can hook behind the 4-wheeler, and take her for a ride. She LOVED it! He dragged her all around the neighborhood, and she had the biggest smile on her face the whole time! She didn't care one bit that it was FREEZING cold that day. She's such a fun kid, and is always up for anything! Enjoy the little video!

Another Dance Recital!

This past Tuesday Zoey had another dance recital. This time we were able to capture it on video for your viewing pleasure! This performance wasn't quite as good as her first one, but she sure tried. I think she enjoyed the setting a lot more this time because she never turned around like she was supposed to! She decided she wanted to dance the wrong way the whole time! I tried yelling her name to get her to turn around, and she did for a second...and then turned right back around! I'm a little shaky, so sorry for the bad video...but at least you can see a little bit of it! Thank you to all the family that came to watch her! We sure appreciate it! She's such a cutie, and we sure have enjoyed watching what she has learned this year in dance! (Even if she is a little backwards!)

Gingerbread Houses!

Grandma Spencer bought some gingerbread houses for the kids to put together on Sunday night. They all had so much fun decorating them. The kids decided that it would be boys against girls. So Taylor and Zoey had Ben, Mark, and Chris helping them. Luke and Miles had Grandpa and Joann helping them. They both turned great! I would have to say it was a tie! Zoey loved to try and put the frosting on the little gingerbread cookies, she did pretty good! Taylor liked to eat the frosting right out of the tube. Luke decorated and awesome tree, he had so many little treats on it! Miles did a great job helping Grandpa put Christmas lights all over his house! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the fun night!
Ben had as much fun as Taylor and Zoey!

Zoey's Dance Recital!

This last Friday night Zoey had her first dance recital! She did a great job. Despite the rough start at home. I started to get her ready, and she flipped out! She didn't want to wear her costume, and cried for about a half hour. My friend Christy told me to just take her in a sweat suit, and when she saw all her little friends in their costumes, then she would want to put hers on. Sure enough, as soon as we got there and she saw everyone else...she wanted it right on! Then she watched all the other groups dance, and couldn't wait for her turn. I was so nervous that she would get on stage and just cry, but she didn't! She did a great job. We were so proud of her. Even if she did do her own thing most of the time...she still danced her little heart out. She has another performance on Tuesday, and she is already looking forward to it!

Such a cute little thing!

BUNCO Christmas Party!

This year we went to Good Wood for our Bunco Christmas party. Normally we play every last Wednesday of the month, but in December we take a break from playing, and go out to eat! We had so much fun. This group of girls are so much fun! I'm so glad to be a part of the best Bunco group there is! You girls are awesome, and I'm glad to have gotten to know all of you over this last year! Sherice...we missed you!

LeT it SnOw!

Last weekend we got a bunch of snow! Zoey was so excited to see all of the snow...finally! She had so much fun playing in it. Ben made an awesome snowman...it was huge! Zoey said she was scared of it, but after we introduced them, she was fine! We couldn't get her to come inside. We were out until 9:30 at night playing in the snow. We were so glad to finally get some snow! Now it's finally starting to feel like Christmas!

As you can see...the snowman was huge...taller than me!

Cute Kids!

This week we got all of our Christmas decorations up! I love this time of year, and the feeling you get when you just sit in front of your tree! It's the best. I thought it would be cute to get a cute picture of Zoey and Dalyn together. Dalyn is the little boy I babysit. I have been watching him for just under 2 years. He is so cute, and him and Zoey adore eachother. Sometimes they fight like brother and sister, but they can be really cute together too! These pictures captured their cute little sense of humor. It was impossible to get a good shot of both of them at the same time, but sometimes those are the best ones! Enjoy!
Dalyn loves to give Zoey kisses!

My cross-eyed girl!

Tried to make them do a cute pose...ha!

They are so stinking cute!

GO BYU!

Well, you all saw it...what a game! We had so much fun at the BYU vs Utah game. It was so awesome to be there, and even more awesome that BYU won! It was such a close game, and was so much fun to watch. Ben just lives for BYU, and looks so forward to this game every year. Thanks to Ralph and Martha for giving up their tickets for Chris and I. Ben and I were able to see a couple of our friends before the game, and talk a little smack! I baked Bryan some BYU cookies on Thursday, so I was really hoping they would win since I gave him a hard time. Mark and Joann ended up getting front row tickets on the 30 yard line right behind the Ute bench. They said it was really cool to sit that close. They even rushed the field at the end of the game! It was quite the experience to be there! Hope you enjoy the pictures!
BYU is #1!

Happy Thanksgiving!

This Thanksgiving was very nice! We enjoyed the day at Ben's parents home. We were just able to relax, and eat it up! Martha...thank you so much for the great dinner. Everything was SO good, and we appreciate all the work you put into it. After dinner Ben and I brought paper bags, and paper to make Indian vests for the kids. They had a lot of fun making them, and each gave them their own personal touch. We had a great day, and hope all of you did too! (We missed you Zac and Shanna!)

Out of all the yummy food, Zoey would only eat bananas from the fruit cocktail, and some wheat thins. She's crazy!
