Easter FUN!

We had a crazy, fun, busy, jam packed Easter this year...and loved every minute of it! We started off the festivities on Thursday dying Easter eggs with Dalyn and Brexlee! They love to do this together, so we make sure to do them on a day that Dalyn is with us!

Zo & Dalyn coloring eggs!

Love them all so much! It was a fun day!

Dad helping out!

SO EXCITED!

Easter morning Ben and I were able to go to the first session of Conference. It was a good experience. I have never been before, so it was really nice to be able to go! Because we had to be up and ready to go early....Zoey got to sleepover at Grandma's house! So the Easter bunny came a little later to our house! When Zo got home she was SO SO SO excited to see what the Easter bunny hid for her!

She got some new books! This kid LOVES books! She also got a new purse and wallet with $5 bucks inside, she was so happy about that!

Finding eggs all over the house!

The Easter bunny was very generous with all the candy this year...what was he thinking?!?

He hid Snow White on top of the ceiling fan...silly bunny!

Looking so cute in her Easter outfit! I bought her a cute dress...never tried it on her, and what do you know...it didn't fit! Luckily she got this way cute outfit for her birthday that she hasn't worn yet, so it worked out perfect!

Later that day we headed out to Grandma & Grandpa Lewis's for another egg hunt! This is a picture of Zo with Grandma Lewis, and Grandma Knighton (aka Grandma that use to have the crib...yes, Zo still calls her that!)

The silly bunny had to hide eggs in the house at Grandma Lewis's too...what the heck...snow on Easter...seriously! Zo didn't mind, it was still just as fun!

Zo with my cousins Davis & Alan...they were good sports to do the egg hunt with her. Zo is the only grandchild on my side of the family so she is pretty spoiled!

Aunt Kimmy...Zoey sure loves her!

Grandpa Lewis

My Aunt Shelly & my beautiful Mom eating up some yummy potato salad!

After that, we headed out to the Spencer's house! 3 egg hunts in 1 day! Yay...an egg hunt outside!

Zoey & Taylor...such cute little buds!

All the cousins!

How cute is he? Seriously! I could just eat him up! Joann made him a cute shirt that says, "It's all muscle Baby!" Such a little chubbers...love it!
Overall it was a fabulous Easter! We love our families, and are glad we got to spend time with them all on this special day!

All Caught Up!!

Yay!! I'm finally all caught up on my blogging!! It feels so good to have it done!! I just couldn't skip everything that has happened since the last time I blogged, so I updated the last 10 months! Ha! I plan on putting this in book someday, so had to have all the happenings in here! So when you have an extra hour on your hands...feel free to catch up on our life!

A little Getaway!!

It was so nice to get away for a weekend with my little family! Our niece Taylor had a dance competition down in St. George. Mark & Joann were renting a house, so they asked us if we wanted to go down with them! It was so much fun. The house we stayed at had a pool, so the kids loved that! It was just a nice relaxing weekend, and so nice to spend time with family!
Zoey was so excited to go on a trip! She couldn't wait for Ben to get home from work so we could go!

The first day, we went breakfast, and then to the outlets to go shopping!

We then headed back to the house to swim. The kids swam all day! It was kind of a cold day, but the pool was over 90 degrees, so they didn't mind!

Gabe & I just sunbathed instead of swimming! Just love him!

Showing off her cute new glasses!

There was also a cute little park in the neighborhood!

Ben & Zo cheering on Taylor! She did awesome! Placed 1st in all her dances! So proud of her!

We went to walk around the St. George Temple. That was my first time there. It was very pretty!

She just stared at herself in this mirror doing different poses for about 5 minutes! She loved her new swimming suit!

Swimming at the hotel! Now this water was nowhere near as warm as the pool at the house. Ben was a good sport to swim with her!

Heading home :-(
Thanks for inviting us to go with you guys! We had so much fun! Lets do it again next year!

Grandpa comes to visit!

Zoey was so excited for her Grandpa to come and visit from Kansas! We only get to see my Dad maybe once or twice a year. We had a lot of fun with him on this last trip! He spoiled us with yummy dinners, and fun activities...but most of all it was just nice to spend time with him. I loved seeing him with Zoey. She adored him, and was so jealous of Kim that he was staying at her house, and not ours. She asked every morning when she would get to see him that day. Thanks for coming out and visiting us Dad...we had so much fun with you, and look forward to the next time! Love you!
The first night he was here he took us out to Tepanyaki! So good!

My brother & Dad

We went out shooting a day! It was so much fun. This was my first time ever shooting a gun. I was really nervous! I'm a dork, and it took me a few shots...and my Dad telling me....that I was using the wrong eye to shoot with! You can probably tell by the way I'm holding the gun. I just couldn't figure out why it was so hard to see the little dot they kept telling me to look for! Ha!

Once I figured it out...I had a blast! I was so sad that Ben had to work that day, and couldn't come with us. He would have been proud!
