Ava's 3rd Birthday

For my own personal amusement I have to put pictures from Ava's 3rd birthday on here. If my house burned down tomorrow at least I'd have all the pictures I've posted on my blog, right?

This is Ava's official 3rd Birthday picture. She's got on her party skirt and she's giving me the best pose I could get (even if she is looking at the TV instead of the camera!)

We had a pizza party before the birthday party and this is Ava with cousins Bennet and Paul.

Ava was so happy with our singing job that she gave us all a nice applause when we finished.

Happy Birthday Ava

Today (what's left of it) is Ava's 3rd birthday! How time flies.

For some reason I can't get any more pictures to post so I'll have to do Birthday pictures and Christmas some other time.

Anyway, Happy Birthday to my sweet, but sometimes crazy, little girl. I love you so much!

I wanted to get some new family pictures taken to send out with Christmas cards this year since my last family picture is more than a year old. Thanks to Stephanie for coming to our place on such short notice to get these done for me. Sadly, Sadie was not happy about taking pictures and didn't last long. We got in a couple of good ones before she lost it though. Here are just a few.

FHE & Turkeys

For family night this past week we decorated our Christmas tree. Its the first year we've been able to decorate so early because in the past we've done live trees. This year I bought a prelit tree and it is so nice. I do kind of miss the feel of a real tree but with kids it is so much easier to have a fake. Ava had a really fun time decorating. I don't have a lot of ornaments but that's okay because her attention span only lasted long enough for the ones I do have.

All of the ornaments ended up on the bottom 1/4 of the tree, and some branches had two or three ornaments a piece. I fixed that after the kids were in bed.

Sadie didn't really care about decorating the tree. She just liked the FHE treat. She does however really enjoy undecorating the tree! I pick up ornaments all day long!

Now what kid hasn't done this?!! Chris found Ava hiding behind the tree eating a candy cane.

In Other News:

We seem to have adopted two wild turkeys. They are here every day usually right by the back door. After a few weeks I decided to name them. They are now known as (left to right) Thelma & Louise.
